or bruce, like, i dunno, saw his mother's teeth get shot out of her skull or something. and his brain decided to cover it up with a false memory.

first time writing for jason todd. this is very self indulgent and was written while crashing out. please do not come @ me. these are headcannons i came up with. english is not my first language so i apologize for grammar mistakes! other than that, please enjoy :)

jason todd— who knows and understand what it’s like to not be loved loudly by people.

jason todd— who loves you as much as you love him, if not more!

jason todd— who drops everything to make sure you’re okay when you call him in the middle of patrol.

jason todd— who comes home from patrol to you sitting in the dark, in the living room, with tears staining your face; he says nothing, drops his helmet, walks to you and holds you tightly like the world is ending.

jason todd— who finds comfort by being with you, even when no words are shared between the two of you.

jason todd— who adores you and thinks of you always.

jason todd— who doesn’t think less of you when you tell him your insecurities or when you’re on your knees, crying and sobbing.

Diana was one of the first to find out, as the Greek pantheon that gifted her powers and the pantheon that Shazam calls upon have a bit of overlapping essences, so she can kind of recall the champion of Shazam lore and work through from there. “Ah. There must have been a younger champion who becomes a man. Fascinating.”

How much and for what decisions Dent flips his coin is very malleable across continuities. Some have him basically flip for everything, even basic physical needs like going to the toilet. Making the coin's removal (or replacement with a more complex system like dice or deck of cards, as we see in Serious House on Serious Earth) debilitating. Others write Dent only flipping for moral dilemmas. Often of the fatal variety. Do they live or die? Partly because it's more relevant to Dent's views and themes of justice, law and order, but this also means the logic behind what he flips for is often also determined by whatever would be most interesting for the plot.

Joker is extremely forgettable, "his facial features?.. hhmm... well, sharp.." and that's mostly all anyone could remember. Batman, being the one fighting Jokrr on maybe a monthly basis, and he keeps files on his villains, he acts, to himself, as if he knows more than the avarage person about the clown, but he doesn't really. He sometimes forgets if Jokers hair is purple of green, cuz those are the two most prominent things about him and he just got the switched, but when he saw the clown again, he remembered everything and just kept his mouth shut. Joker is forgettable, but he tries to not be, he tries way too much and circles back to being forgettable

Joker is unmemorable, forgettable, as much as he tires not to be, as much as he does everything to do the opposite. But if Joker's not directly in front of someone, they'd not be able to describe him well, "... sharp! Sharp features he's got... and, and... pale(?) skin? He wears purple... or was it green.."

And Batman prided himself with the knowladge of everything, and since he sees Joker on such a regular basis, and he has a file on everyone, including Joker, he thinks he knows what Joker is like, how he looks like, how he thinks, what makes him tick. But if asked he to, he too would have quite a hard time trying to remember what Joker looked like, maybe even mixing up his hair color, he'd also maybe forget if Joker had motifs, or personality traits.
