1.) Absolutely zero respect for Dick’s authority as leader.

They clown on him for his detective shit.

They clown on him for being a dork.

The clown-dom is endless.

You think Bruce would tolerate Plastic Man pulling this shit? This frequently? Absolutely not. But Dick is chill like that.

2.) They do all kinds of innocuous shit and act like they’re guilty or something. Adorable.

First it’s Dick, Donna, and Rachel out here spooking an investigator.

And then it’s The Boys laughing at a guy they have suspended by their ankles.

Is any of this worthy of how mischievous they’re acting? No. They think they’re being rebellious. But they are absolutely the golden children of the 80s. Could not be anti-heroes if they tried.

3.) Surprisingly emotionally mature when necessary.

Okay we don’t talk about it nearly enough but the arc where Dick was mind controlled by Brother Blood fucked him up.

Dude lost his autonomy for months (if I had a nickel for every time Dick was deprived of his autonomy :o), was compelled to do shit he categorically did not want to do, and was all around having a terrible time.

Recognizing this, and without exchanging a single word, the Titans all unanimously try their best to foster an environment where he can cope.

That’s top tier right there.
