Markus my baby🫶🏼🫶🏼 I definitely loved the father-son relationship Carl and Markus had. It was so cute and I remember when I played I just wandered the house more than I did anything for Carl since well that's just how I am in emersive video games. I also am really big on art and details so the little things like the engravings on the pillars to the pattern of the carpet was just something I was looking at all the time. Carl's house really is beautiful, the whole world of Detroit is (speaking looks not the state of the world.) His paintings also ugrgghhhhhh. I want to try replicating some of the ones I've seen. I also absolutely loved the paintings that Markus made when Carl told him to "close his eyes and think of something that didn't exist" and god was that one of my favorite chapters. I've replayed the game countless times but those first couple chapters with Markus where art was just spewing, I fell in love with the game. Obviously it's an AMAZING production in video game history and has inspired many, but what really sold it was just.. well Markus! Connors chapters were dope as fuck and I felt like Kara's story was really more my pace 100% because I'm a sap for heartfelt shit- I just realized I'm rambling so much..
