Mwahahaha thank you, @mollyinthewater, for giving me a reason to gush about this wonderful character.Ā
First Impression:Ā The coolest of the three DBH characters to play (also cough the most aesthetically pleasing) and just all around pretty much immediately became my favorite characterĀ šLoved his relationship with Hank and his story was the one that hit hardest for me.
Impression Now:Ā Similar, but like, 800xs the obsession and appreciation. Bc Iāve realized that the reason his story hit home has to do with a number of things I actually super identify with him on, and because Iāve seen the fandomās many and varied interpretations of him and I love them all.
Favorite Moment:Ā THE HANK HUG ENDING ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE I LIVE FOR THAT, but also I adore the lil genuine conversation he has with Hank about appreciating working with him and whatnot and when he finally stands up to Amanda (and literally every time he smiles,Ā āI like dogs,ā petting Sumo,Ā āI was scared,ā anytime he does something badass but not a hostile Hank run,Ā āIām certainly going to miss our bromance,ā whenever he does the deviant thing and is stressed but then Hank is approving and itās adorable)
Idea for a Story:Ā Ahahahaha I have so friggin many itās not even funny. Currently working on a fic taking theĀ āgive upā option if Markus is dead and Connorās leading the deviants and making it turn out okay (was my first playthrough experience and Iām literally carrying around so much trauma from that and it all ultimately being for nothing cause CyberLife won that I had to write therapy ficĀ š)
Unpopular Opinion:Ā Hmm maybe that as much as I love seeing him shipped with basically every character in the fandom lmao I donāt really see him with anyone. Kind of hc him as aroace.Ā
Favorite Relationship:Ā Connor and Hank. I have a thing for mountains of angst and turmoil and only slivers of hard-won happiness (which is basically what their whole story is built on lol). I also just love the idea of the two of them as best friends/buddy cops with an initial father-son type dynamic that evolves into more of a mutual respect, trust, and care for each other. (No hate for hankcon, but like I said above, aroace hc).Ā
Favorite Headcanon:Ā Connorās coin trick calibration stuff kind of becomes a coping mechanism/stimming type thing for him post-deviancy when he be dealing with anxiety/stress/potential ptsd symptoms. Also he 100% does time part of the K-9 unit at the DPD and all the doggos love him xD
