The comic books for vampire hunters tell tale of the Entity, the vampires are soldiers for it - they bring corpses to its realm and in return they can drain them of blood and create over soldiers to spend eternity with. The only question is, when the vampires are killed what happens to them? Does the Entity take them into the fog as a reward or as a punishment for failing it? That was the very question David asked himself as the antlers pierced his flesh and fog surrounded him.

David uses the power Be One of Us, every time he hits a survivor his blood metre fills as his hunger sates, when the metre meets the first tier David can rush forward in one direction. Any survivor he hits directly will be downed and anyone hit by the recoil will be injured. When it hits the second tier David fly across the map (it has to be over 20 metres away but less than 40), jumping into the air and crashing down at certain points. He canât be too close to a hook or generator and any survivor who may be hit loses a health state. When the metre is full David can bewitch a survivor into helping him, they must fight repeated skill checks until theyâre free and any survivor within 15 metres of them will be revealed to David. If the afflicted survivor manages to touch another survivor they will grab onto them and hold them still for 10 seconds.

You have gained the ability to sabotage treasure chests by filling them with insects. By interacting with them for 9/6/3 seconds you can ensure that anyone who interacts with the treasure chest has their aura revealed to you for 10/15/20 seconds, is exposed for 10/15 seconds, and is blinded for 30 seconds.
Never Grow Old, Never Die
When the gates open any survivors that have managed to go the whole game without being hooked have their auras revealed to you and become exposed for 30/45/60 seconds.
Lost In The Shadows
The Entity controls the shadows, and if you stay in them for long enough you are rewarded. If you manage to spend the first 45/35/25 seconds of the trial without a survivor seeing you then the Entity rewards you. Any time you go unseen for more than 5/10/15 seconds without being seen you become undetectable, and fifty percent of blinding attempts fail.

A billion Chinese people canât be wrong. When you bewitch a survivor anyone they touch drips blood which fills up your blood metre.
Hotel Keyring
An old hotel keyring from the Hudson. Your blood is in the stone of Santa Carla, when your blood metre is 50% full you can hear the pulse of survivors travel through the rocks to gage how close they are.
Motorcycle Keys
A real biker wouldnât go anywhere without his keys. You can now control your rush ability, giving you enough control to enable turning and drifting. Anyone who is within 15 metres of you when you rush is now weakened and their aura is revealed to you.
Michaelâs Silver Earring
An earring you managed to rip from Michaelâs ear when the deer antlers penetrated your shoulders. Some bonds can never be broken. One survivor is bewitched as the game begins, and every time a generator is completed another survivor becomes bewitched. The blood metre no longer rises beyond the second tier.

Michael thought he was safe, he really did. Theyâd killed the head vampire and now there was nothing to worry about, thatâs how it seemed for a year or so. Only when summer rolled back around everything was strange, it was a lot colder than last year with a thick fog around him that no one else seemed bothered by or even notice. No one told him that the blood deep in his veins might no longer make him one of the undead, but that doesnât mean he doesnât belong to the Entity.

All that time in Grandpaâs workshop gave you a pretty good idea on mechanics, fellow survivors who are fixing generators are revealed to you, if youâre within 10/20/30 metres of them they get a 20/30/40% boost in repair speed.
All The Damn Vampires
One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach; all the damn vampires. - Grandpa
You know you were close to becoming one of the killers in this place, if you hadnât been cured of vampirism, thankfully that means they almost donât spot you as a survivor. Whenever you are repairing a generator as it finishes you get a token, a token that can be used to protect you from having your location detected if you are within the killerâs terror radius. If you finish the generators and have managed to get all five tokens then you are given Endurance for the rest of the game, the killerâs aura is revealed to you, and the time it takes for you to open the gate is cut in half.
The humiliating method of being killed and decapitated was the final straw, filling Doctor Carl Hill with so much rage that the Entity in amusement opened up its doors to him. The cruel man had interested it enough, with his torture, lobotomies, and horrifically disproportionate punishments to his students. However, when the Entity saw the reanimated corpse of Doctor Carl Hill it was amusement and whimsy that made the Entity want to see just what he could achieve in its realm of death where death means nothing.

His close weapon is a bone saw, rusted with blood sticking to the blade still. His ranged weapon is a laser drill which causes survivors to experience Disorientation - a status effect which makes the surroundings blurry and sound out of sync. This can only be cured by being healed by another survivor.
Power
As a member of the undead Doctor Carl Hill can remove his limbs and they can move independently. If he removes his hands, his body is unable to attack survivors but they can scurry across the map completely undetectable and grab survivors immobilising them until they manage to rip the hands off of them (at a baseline this takes five seconds). They can also however hold lockers closed or sabotage generators. If he removes his head, he can place it high up and see through the eyes as his body acts in response to the orders from the head that watches. This is countered by survivors sneaking up on and crushing the body parts.
Load-Out
Hex: Master of Human Will
Youâve lobotomised and tortured enough patients to understand human psychology. Whenever survivors think theyâve outsmarted you, you have a way of coming out on top. Whenever a survivor drops a pallet, 20/40/60% of pallets and vaulting walls on the map are covered by the entity until the pallet is broken or moved.
Need a hand?
Youâve never been good at keeping your hands to yourself. Whenever you damage a generator, a part of you remains to track it, causing its aura to become yellow, the next survivor to fix it has your terror radius be transferred onto them for 25/35/45 seconds and you become undetectable.
Green With Envy
Your desire to covet the work of others is what drives you so intensely, especially in a world where death is neither permanent nor can be controlled by you. Whenever the Entity makes an appearance - whilst someone is on the hook or the Entity is blocking a generator gain Haste for 5/10/15 seconds.

Broken Glass Vial
A reminder of how heâd failed to steal Doctor Herbert Westâs formula, a stain of green still on the glass.
The laser drills fires 2.5% faster with a 15% shorter cooldown.
A Chewed Pencil
A standard yellow pencil that fills Doctor Hill with rage every time he looks upon it.
The time it takes for a survivor to rip the Headâs hands from their body is increased by 3 seconds.
Needle & Thread
A surgical needle and thread keeps the head and neck in place.
Whenever the body is separated, whoever is within 15 metres of the body part not currently being controlled has their aura revealed.
An Orbitoclast & Mallet
This medical instrument still has a smudge of blood on the hammer of the mallet and a chunk of brain matter at the tip of the orbitoclast.
Whenever someone tries to crush one of your hands or the head, poisonous blood explodes from the body part causing the survivor to become injured.

A pair of delicate blue lace underwear, used and screwed into a ball, stolen from Megan Halsey.
Everyone starts the trial suffering from Disorientation. When all the generators are finished, everyone is inflicted with Disorientation for a second time.

If you hide in a locker with a medkit for 45/35/25 seconds you create the Re-Agent. This can be made once per match, when given to a fellow survivor close to death it will fully heal them and allow them to regain a life. However, you are broken from crafting the Re-Agent.

Youâve taken down hunters before, even if they were much smaller than this. When you are about to be hooked for the first time you are given a very tough/tough/standard skill check, if you succeed you can hit the killer causing them to drop you, and be themselves stunned.

Doctor Dan Cain didnât know what happened when fog filled their home, but when Herbert West put down the reagent and began walking into the fog and seemingly through what was the wall⌠He knew he had to go through it, whether the Entity had intended it to take both of them or not.

The devotion to your loved ones is admirable, and as misplaced as it is your grip will never be broken. You have no chance of being the obsession, but you and the obsession are inherently connected. They gain 15/30/40% of your blood points and you gain 15/30/40% of theirs. If they are healed, you are also healed at 30/40/50% speed. However, you also feel their pain. If they are hit you are broken for 45/35/25 seconds.

You are not quite the pushover people think you are. If the killer inflicts a status effect on you they are stunned, you are invulnerable for 3 seconds, and you are undetectable for 5 seconds.

How much of the trial is your own choice and what is the Entityâs? How much free will do you have? When youâre on the hook and the entityâs tendrils start to appear you are given one/two/three skill check(s), if you pass you manage to push death away by 10/15/20 seconds.

This chapter comes with two new status effects. For survivors: Terrified. When afflicted the survivor is easily startled, causing skill checks to be faster and their own actions to be slower. It also causes them to scream whenever a loud noise or action happens within 15 metres of them. For killers: Powerless. They are unable to use their power for the allotted amount of time (defaults to five seconds.) Assuming this is alongside my previous Batman chapter, these would be applied to the various abilities and characters.

The Bat (The Batman Who Laughs/The Grim Knight)
This killer comes with the introduction of an âalternate realityâ mechanic. What this means is that within the character of The Bat there are two versions from different universes - the Batman Who Laughs and the Grim Knight. They each have unique perks, theyâre similar and each is within each versions abilities but their unique life experiences meaning they approach them differently. This is also the cases with the items, and their voice lines are also unique and are said by the same voice actor (who if all my Batman chapters merged would also voice Bruce Wayne.)

Essentially the plot of the graphic novel of the same name and the Dark Metal universe except the multiverse tearing resulted in the Bats being grabbed by the Entity.
Weapons
The Batman Who Laughs has dark metal bladed chains for close attacks, and his three Corrupted Robins for ranged attacks. They will hiss and pounce forward, ripping the flesh of survivors with their teeth and claws causing them to trigger the âBleedingâ status effect.
The Grim Knight has a great deal of weapons but enters the trial with only two as the Entity stole them angering the Grim Knight immensely. He has a close range weapon which is his combat knives in each hand, meaning he can hit someone twice if they do not manage to escape after the first one to cause them to start âBleedingâ. His second weapon is a semi-automatic rifle, this has lower accuracy but shoots multiple bullets over a wider range with more severe consequences depending on how far away the survivor is. If they are within 30 metres, itâs a regular injury, within 15 metres and they start âBleedingâ, within 5 metres and they are downed no matter how healthy they are. However, the semi-automatic only has one magazine, and can either only be used once per game or in three short bursts.
Powers
The Batman Who Laughs has his three Corrupted Robins. What they can do is when released fly into the air and do one of two thing, fly directly towards a survivor within their 30 metre radius or reveal every survivorâs aura within that radius to the killer.
The Grim Knight has âPredatory Instinctsâ. He has the senses of a hunter, and as such he has Detective Mode which is constantly charging with every survivor he hits or generator he smashes. When itâs a third of the way full, he can use it to go completely undetectable for 30 seconds. If itâs two thirds of the way done he can have the previous benefit with the addition of all of the survivors within a 30 metre radius being revealed to him. If itâs completely full, the previous abilities are installed and he gains the ability to knock a perfectly healthy survivor to the ground.

Bats Out Of Hell
People have learned to fear the cackles and giggles that escape your lips every time you commit an action. Whenever an action of yours makes noise, a burst of terror fills the hearts of any survivor giving them the Terrified status affect within 15/20/25 metres for 5/10/15 seconds within a 60/45/30 second cooldown.
Hex: Bat Country
In your Gotham, the Batman rules Gotham with an iron fist. Whenever a survivor screams their aura is revealed to you for 5/10/15 seconds, you can also see the aura of any survivor youâve hooked if they are within 10/20/30 metres of you. This Hex has a totem for every survivor, and if one is snuffed out it will relight in 60/45/30 seconds unless all four totems are snuffed out.
Hex: Herald of Barbatos
The god of the bats smiles on you. Every time an animal is spooked, all survivors scream and the killer gains a token. Whenever the killer spooks an animal however his position is revealed to the survivors for 9/6/3 seconds. The Hex totem is not revealed until the killer has 25 tokens.
5 tokens: The killer gains Haste for 5/10/15 seconds every time an animal is spooked.
10 tokens: Whenever a survivor spooks an animal the survivor becomes broken for 10/20/30 seconds.
15 tokens: When the survivorsâ auras are revealed to the killer they become Terrified,
20 tokens: Every ten seconds the survivorsâ auras are revealed to the killer.
25 tokens: The killer can spend all 25 tokens to kill the next downed survivor with their own hands, however the Hex totem will deactivate after this is done.
Hoplophobia
Your weapons send fear into your universe counterparts, and the survivors as well. Whenever your weapons are used all survivors within 15/25/35 metres are Terrified for 20/40/60 seconds.
The Darkest Knight
You hide in the shadows, all light does is make bigger ones. Whenever you are blinded or stunned you become undetectable for 45/60/75 seconds and the one who blinded you becomes Terrified for 25/50/75% of that time.
Fires of Gotham
When you killed Joe Chill you shattered the ice that covered Gotham. When you burned the crime families and corrupt power alive you caused a never ending fire which you have learned to control. Any survivor with the ability to blind you is revealed to you when they are within 15/20/25 metres, and any time your blinded once recovered you gain Haste whenever you are in 5/10/15 metres of the survivor who blinded you.
Add-Ons
The add-ons for the Batman Who Laughs are indicated by being in green, and the Grim Knightâs are in red. Prior to the iridescent add-ons the Batman Who Laughâs are souvenirs from various victims and circus paraphernalia which extends the reach of his Corrupted Robins and the status effects they can cause, and the Grim Knightâs are items from the fascist Gotham of his creation such as trackers, ID cards, a bloody bullet from his victims heads, and so on. They all extend the range of Detective Mode and the time it lasts for, as well as adding new status effects caused by it.
Pouch of Teeth (Iridescent)
A small leather pouch filled with the teeth of Richard Grayson, Jason Todd, Timothy Drake, and Barbara Gordon.
The Corrupted Robins now have the ability to down anyone they target from above regardless of health status. They can also do this up to three times in a row before being recalled instead of only once.
Corrupted Robins can no longer track or spy on survivors.
Necklace of Eyeballs (Iridescent)
A homemade necklace of steel links, hooked onto each one is eyeballs frozen in resin, each belong to Richard Grayson, Jason Todd, Timothy Drake, and Barbara Gordon.
Corrupted Robins will remain in one spot with their surveillance power activated with no time limit or cool down unless the Bat orders them to move and cannot be âshooed awayâ by survivors.
The Corrupted Robins can no longer directly attack from above.
Utility Belt (Iridescent)
The only thing the Bat has in common with his Bruce Wayne counterpart, except this one has significantly more weaponry holsters and deadly poisons.
You have two extra magazines for your semi-automatic rifles that can store twice the amount of bullets.
Detective Mode cannot reach past the second tier.
Blood Soaked Pearls (Iridescent)
When Bruce Wayne grabbed the gun that Joe Chill dropped he watched as the bullet pierced the murdererâs skull. The blood and chunks of brain splattered around him, landing on the very pearls Joe Chill caused to be scattered across the ground.
Whenever Detective Mode reaches its maximum level, the Bat can instantly kill with his own hand the next downed survivor regardless of how many times said survivor has been hooked.
You can no longer use your semi-automatic rifle.

You were once like them, so you know how they think. Whenever a generator is completed the killer is given the status effect Powerless for 3/6/9 seconds, and is revealed for 3 seconds.
Sewer Cartographer
Whenever you pass an item of interest 6/4/2 times it lodges itself in your memory and its aura is revealed to you whenever you are in 15/20/25 metres of it.
Teenage Lobotomy
The brainwashing and programming inflicted upon you has been compared to a lobotomy, whether thatâs true or not the way it effected your brain means that you have a strong resistance to any status effect inflicted by the killer. All status effects last for 50/40/30% of the allotted time. However, in its place your aura is revealed to the killer for the standard duration.

A Damn God Cop
Youâve been on the force long enough to know how to protect and serve your associates. Once/twice/three times per match if youâre within 2/3/4 metres of a fellow survivor who is about to be hit, you automatically dive in the way and are invulnerable to the next bit the killer makes if it is within 2/4/6 seconds. However, after use you are broken for 60/45/30 seconds.
No Manâs Land
Youâve always been a soldier for Gotham, now youâre a soldier against a god that is so powerful the war hasnât even begun. Every time you stun or blind the killer you gain a token, once you have 7/6/5 tokens you can spend that to boost a generatorâs progress speed by 10/15/20%.
Lighthouse Keeper
As the maker and primary user of the Bat signal you know how and when to ask for help. If you have a torch, you can use it to light up your aura to other survivors for 10/20/30 seconds to signal that you need help. If you are carrying the torch and suffering from a status effect then your aura is revealed automatically.
