Today marks 96 years since the name "U.S. 66" was first proposed for the cross-country route. In 2010, I was featured in a story arc featuring the song and the road Route 66. General Hospital is set in Chicago, where Route 66 begins. The story arc began there and it ended at LA MoCA, where the road actually ends. In 2019, I moved to Tulsa and was fascinated with the presence and history of the road here. Last year, I purchased a house to launch the Queen Rose Art House in Kendall Whittier. Kendall Whittier was a prominent stop on Route 66 and I drive the road daily. I always think back to my GH days and now my Tulsa days and it always feels like a full circle moment.
