                     the moment he smelt the burning wood, brayan knew what was happening. and for the first time in a long time, he panicked. he had been with quinn not too long ago, but she had went to check in with flynn, did she make it? he HAD to find her. his eyes glanced around and he didn’t see her– but saw flynn. SHIT! where is she?! his mind was racing at this point. she had already been through so much, he couldn’t leave without find her! 

as he rushed around the hall, colliding with people trying to get out, his eye caught onto something else. SOMETHING THAT MADE HIS BLOOD TURN COLD. klaus was moving toward maverick as if to attack him. the fire was spreading quickly and while brayan needed to get to quinn, he couldn’t let klaus get to his little brother!

  he moved quickly, smoke already feeling his lungs, to intercept the original vampire. PUSHING HIM ROUGHLY, knowing if anyone was was around, they wouldn’t notice as they were trying to get out. “ whatever you want with him- it’s not happening! ” he spoke before punching the vampire.

                      f i r e  seemed to surround his bruised and bloody body and as he coughed and struggled for air, brayan couldn't come to regret his decision to take on the original vampire. for maverick, he was willing to do ANYTHING. even lie about what really happened to henrik mikaelson, not that klaus had believed him in the end. his body screamed at him to rest, but he couldn’t. sure, he had saved his little brother, but he wasn’t done. he needed to find quinn.

struggling to get up, all you could hear from him was him groaning in pain. but he did manage to get up. he was weakened, but still strong enough to uses his senses to find the girl he cared so deeply for. it didn’t take him too long, when he found her, it was like his pain faded away for a moment, just long enough to rush to her and help her up. she was struggling a lot more than he was to break. “ quinn– quinn, it’s okay, i’m gonna get you out of her. ” he knew she was in pain herself from her pervious injuries, so he pushed his pain aside and focused on her completely.
