Rizzo said the podcast will focus on the 2016 season from the start “through Game 7 and the speech.” And if you don’t know what “the speech” refers to, you’re probably not a Cubs fan and can skip the rest.

“This is us alone,” Rizzo said. “Me and Rossy were talking, and with the 10-year reunion we wanted to do this. Whenever we all get together we just sit down and everyone tells stories. I always wanted to do a podcast after I was playing, and (Ian) Happ tried to always get me to do one while I was playing, but it was too much of a commitment.

The interviews with players are filmed, and the podcast will be available on YouTube. It’s mostly a weekly show, though two episodes will drop each week at the outset. They’ve already taped several episodes, appropriately starting with Jon Lester, their beer-loving running buddy.

1. Does your oc have any difficulty distinguishing between love and lust?

At first i wanted to say that he does but now that im actually thinking about it actually i think hes very aware of the difference? The way i see it is that he clearly knows what he needs from a sexual partner and it doesnt have to involve a romantic connection, and maybe even vise versa. Oh thats intresting...smth to think about

12. If your oc were in love, how might they recognise this? Or would they be too much in denial?

I think he would caught on pretty fast, maybe with a touch of denial at first cuz "i cant be distracted like that rn" but he would conclude that its better to figure this crush out first so it doesnt ruin the rest of his life and especially work. He'd be kinda oddly medical and technical about it i imagine

2. Is your oc romantic at all themselves? Or is romance something they expect others to perform for their benefit?

Ohhh hes romantic for sure, much more romantic than rodya! He deffo loves taking care of his partner

15. Is your oc easy to love? If not, what are their barriers?

That one time he brough Rodya for Christmas with his family(back when they were younger & dating) and him and his mom had a big big argument. Its not like he never fought with his parents but for some reason that whole week really stuck with him. He made up with his mom since then though

- How they comfort someone they love?

Probably creating space for them and doing acts of service without being too pushy. I think he's kinda bad with words of comfort so he makes up for it in action.

8. Where there expectations placed on your oc when they were growing up? Have they lived up to those expectations?

Ooooh i havent thought about that with emillio yet! I think there certainly was due to the nature of the sport, and he certainly met them so far by getting into f1! Rn its gen kind of hard to imagine how his family feel about his career, i imagine him to be kind of distant from then (literally and figuratively) most of the time... I do think his parents are eternally proud of him no matter what. Perhaps that will change as years go by, since its just his rookie year

I also wanna answer someone random for dis hmm. With all of the nessus guys there 100% lots of pressure on them which is how they became such incredible scientists, though i think davey had to experience the least of it as his parents probably..didnt care all that much...idk why i think this way. rodya's parente were the worst at that which is partly why he is the way he is rn. morgan too but she worked throughout it, mariana also, and gani is somewhere inbetween.

11. What was your oc scared of as a child? Are they still scared of that?

omg what a question... Emillio seems to me like the type of guy to have like very random fears from childhood caused by random stuff he saw on tv. Like. Idk. Sharks? Space? Wait. I think hed be scared of the vastness of space and have dreams about getting lost there after watching too many space documentaries or sum 😭😭 this is so random but makes so much sense in my mind idk why.

I also wanna add Rodya here since i once came up with a fact that once as a child he went out for a walk and got lost in the woods for a bit which scared the living shit out of him. I kind of want that to seep through the cracks of his mind in act3 of the story. I think the situation he finds himself in on the nessus will make him feel like a scared little boy again.

22. What are their eating habits like? Do they snack throughout the day? Or do they eat sparsely?

I think he prefers to snack but chooses not to. I imagine him to be strict about his diet, healthy stuff mostly, not without his cheat days though of course.

39. What's your characters guilty pleasure?

Ohh ny god thats a hard one. Stupid reality shows like love island is the first thing that came to mind maybe thats a sign. I think him and rodya would watch them together after long days of being professional and academic.

45. Does your character believe in anything? Religion? Superstition?
