Working with was such an amazing opportunity. The person you see as Terry in Rebel ridge- that calm demeanor, soft spoken voice, incredible capability and confidence, is who he is. He brought himself into that role, and I can’t imagine it being played any other way. All of those characteristics that make him an awesome person, also make him an incredible actor. Along with the focus, intensity and drive he possesses. There is no doubt that Aaron Pierre is a star. Prior to Rebel Ridge you have seen him in The award winning indie film Brother, as well as Old, The Underground Railroad, Genius as Malcolm X, Foe, Krypton and you will soon hear him as the voice of Mufasa in the upcoming live action adaptation. Everything he does is mind blowing and I can’t wait to see what more is to come from him! I had such a great experience working alongside of you Aaron! It is such an honor to watch you in action and learn from you!
