Dave Made A Maze (2017) Dave creates a cardboard fort in his living room that he gets lost in, his other half gets a group of people together to go in and look for him despite his warnings. Right so, Dave Made a Maze hurt my head, I just never understood it. I’ll get that out of the way first, because I’ve seen some people who love this film, but I just don’t get it. It’s also marketed as Adventure/Horror, and it certainly wasn’t scary. Trippy yes, scary no. It all starts with a box in the living room, everyone goes in, and there’s another world in the box world that he’s created. The story is about how they escape and the ending is strange too. I don’t think I ever got out of 1st gear with it, and just failed to ever really find an interesting part to grasp to. If you understood it’s metaphorical meanings that were explained in the book that came with it as part of @arrowvideo release, then props to you but I was left feeling pretty much speechless. Overall, I wouldn’t really be able to recommend you watch this.
