#dave's world

The wall I put this collage on was at one point "The Wall Of Dirk Benedict", and for the last 4 years it has been that. Now it has become "The Wall Of Harry Anderson". That one collage has grown from multiple pictures I printed out with my printer to bigger pictures I got off of Ebay. And I'm not even close to being done yet, there are still pictures I haven't gotten yet and I have other photos lying around that I may end up putting on the wall next to my Harry Anderson wall. So let's just say that Harry Anderson wall #2 may become a thing. Here's what my masterpiece looks like for right now.

Sorry if the image is blurry. There are two Dirk Benedict items left on the wall, but they'll be moved to a different wall eventually. I still can't believe I made this. I'd like to think that Harry Stone would do this for his idol Mel Tormé, taking all the pictures he has of him and making a giant wall mural. I'll put up an update to this when I get the other pictures and complete the wall. Here are the other photos haven't used:

I know..........I'm crazy. Oh and one more thing. I turned that Harry The Hat collage into an actual journal on Canva and I absolutely love it.

The first 3 seasons were released on DVD but never 4, and nothing since then. It *might* have been on Paramount+ at some point but it sure isn't there now (how low did I sink to do a free trial to see if it was there as some sites said. it wasn't)

And it's not bc I like Dave's World. I mean I watched it as a kid but have no interest in revisiting it as an adult. No shade to Dave Barry/Harry Anderson, its a show that firmly belongs in the 80s/90s.

But there is one exception....

The episode Spontaneous Combustion, from season 4. Which features John De Lancie. Specifically, it features a portrait of John De Lancie as his own great-great-great-ancestor, a matronly woman painted in the style of an 18th Century High Society Woman, with De Lancie's Face.

And this bit of the dialogue has remained in my mind goes like this De Lancie: SHHH!!! Don't say out loud, she'll know (eyeing the painting). Dave: How?! De Lancie: I don't know, but she knows everything. [voice dips to Q-threat register] See how the eyes follow you as you move across the room?
