but then here, too, was another deeply vital position she held: courier, communicator, and liason. the tea was welcome after her morning coffee, of which arsenia had imbibed far too much and had not encouraged the stillness and focus required to understand the nuances of heavy corporate concepts. her hands had stopped shaking, at least, and as she set her cup down on thin air and twirled her wand to start stirring in a little more honey, she conjured the book they were about to discuss.

the twins on the sofa adjacent to her in the sitting room had not bothered to bring anything. that was alright; arsenia’s eyes cut up to meet aella’s as the older girl spoke. “what did you think of this week’s readings?”

she turned a page, looking at the detailed annotations in the margins. “our character seems to have learned his lesson,” she she said academically, flipping a page before continuing. “however, his leading lady is resisting. i worry there may not be a way for her to change before the conclusion,” she sighed, lamenting. “if she doesn’t come around soon—” she closed the book, “—the story might have to continue without her, i’m afraid.”

The site will open tomorrow, Friday the 29th, at 6PM EST. Hopefully there won’t be too much of an initial reserves rush, but a few notes on reserves:

There’s no separate face claim; the face claim reserve is built into the canon reserve. The only place you will be posting a reserve, regardless of what kind of canon you’re planning on taking, will be on the “Canons & Reserves” thread.

Reserves are first come, first serve. Reserves are one per alias (so you can reserve for a friend who can’t make it if necessary).

There are no competitions. 

When your application is completed, post on the “Site Registry” thread with all of the necessary codes. When your application is processed, the post will be deleted & then you may reserve a second character if you have one in mind.
