What if bramble fog has a pacifying effect. Part of the reason why feldspar's cool with staying. Makes you sleepy and calm and slows your metabolism. Keeps you from freaking out about the anglerfish, so you're easier to catch.

This is exactly why I love Outer Wilds
The fear that I had when I got into Dark Bramble had me literally shaking in fear in my chair. Outer Wilds is a game that doesn't try to be scary, but is. Just this entire game fills me with dread. This is why i love this game.

Also did you know that Slate gave the protagonist’s ship a special gravity crystal that warps the space around the it to make it look like it’s growing and shrinking??? Yeah that’s true for sure…
