So I finally decided to watch Andor (it is so good) and it made me wonder if this was in production around the same time as The Mandalorian.
Like, it can't be a coincidence that one of the main locales in Andor is Ferrix where people are constantly worrying about how cold and drafty it is (despite location scouts apparently not getting the memo) and the main swear word in The Mandalorian is "dank farrik" with zero context or history in canon that I know of.
My theory someone on the Mandalorian team heard one of the other writers talk about "dank Ferrix" thought it sounded funny, miswrote it, and now it's just a thing people say.
Can anyone with more Star Wars knowledge than me prove me wrong about this?
I'm (not) sorry but if Din Djarin has to say stupid curses like 'dank farrik' then some random Scottish guy should have to as well.
