DISCLOSURE DAY DISCUSSION ! ! !

SPOILERS!

Genuinely so happy. My favorite things about disclosure day:

•They didn't make Margaret and Daniel Romantic

• They let them be close and vulnerable with eachother even though, again, not romantically.

• Empathy being as crucial as intelligence.

•religious commentary

• Daniel hugged Hughes. I love it when men are allowed to show affection for eachother.

•Daniel wasn't always the brave savior. You see him as a kid and he's trying not to cry, or crying I couldn't tell very well.

• The scene of Jane where she's holding the knife and looking over her shoulder was reminiscent to me at least of The Fallen Angle by Alexandre Cabanel.

• Hughes and Noah, showing eachother kindness and forgiveness.

• the movie, at the end of the day, is centered around empathy, trust, and love.

•no sexualization of ANYONE.
