I am currently watching Amnesia: teh dark descent and the game is really good but Daniel. Daniel is fucking hilarious. more often then not he acts like a 13 year old fanboy around Alexander so much and it's like, it brings tears to my eyes, do you like the elevators little british boy 🥹? Are you excited about the water mills 🥹? Do you like the cool castle🥹? Your big room🥹? And before he comes to the castle it's similar with the Orb™️, he just gets so excited over it. ALSO the contrast between the early pages from his Diary (full grown man who presumably titled his journal 'Daniels Diary' btw) and him during the game is so funny, like "Hello I am most british man to ever exist, I hope to bring things I steal from these old graves to the british museum, I am very upstanding and smart, and yes, I am such a big boy" And then he closes the note and you just hear the sounds of him pissing himself in fear and eating his own teeth bc it's dark in there.
