I'm very late but I couldn't just not participate in the fallenwings week so here it is :)
Some yapping about each drawing under the cut because I have: things to say and the time to do so
Day 1- Jealousy (+ Secret pining if you squint)
I *really* like the idea of Lute feeling jealous of the unnamed exorcist in Vaggi's flashback and the prompt basically forced me to draw this. I actually have a chaggi + jealous Lute drawing in the works too but I had never drawn this girl and I really wanted an excuse to do it.
Day 2- Fighting
Hello, this is my best drawing ever? I'm really proud of it, specially of how Vaggi looks. Might color it someday *proceeds to get distracted by other projects and forget about it* (probably).
Day 3- Kiss
This one's actually one year old but I still liked it enough to use it for this! Yes I drew lots of fallenwings during my hiatus. I'm very normal about them. Trust me.
Day 4- Fallen (+ Wings if you squint)
First of all, LUTE MY BABY SORRY FOR DRAWING YOU LIKE THIS ð at first I was only going to make the wings bloody as if they'd been torn apart BUT it looked odd so I had to add tons more of blood to really sell the point of Lute having just fallen and being in a horrible condition/half-dead.
Day 5- Regret
And if I draw hurt Lute, I'm drawing hurt Vaggi too. It's only fair that way. Sorry Vaggi ð. I actually love love love the idea of Lute hallucinating Vaggi the way she hallucinates Adam. Like, way too much. I wanna write a fic on this idea at some point because it's so angsty and it scratches my brain in just the right way.
Day 6- Unrequited
By far the hardest one to draw. I was going to go with "tragedy" but after two sketches that didn't convince me at all I decided to draw the other prompt. I was also feeling kinda guilty about drawing them dying together after the day 4 and 5 drawings lol. I preferred continuing with the trend of "Vaggi being happy and Lute being very angry about not being the source of that happiness".
Day 7- Alternative Universe
OKAY OKAY SO,,, I love Wicked. I have for a while now, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande changed my life and gelphie will always be one of my OTPs now that I know about them. I'd religiously listen to the soundtrack. And eventually "What is this feeling" became my go-to "early fallenwings dynamic" song. And that ended up with me making this AU some time ago. And I'm pretty obsessed with it and I'll definitely talk about it more in the future. Yes I know Jessica Vosk used to play Elphaba, not Glinda but !!! The one that chose to rebel against the system despite its cost vs the one that decided to uphold it despite having to lose the one person she loved. It fits. It fits in my mind and I'll be annoying about it. So I decided to draw the iconic dance scene. I tried to make Vaggi's skin green but with some gray undertone to match her actual skin color. Don't know if I succeeded. Seeing Lute in pink is weird but yellow didn't look too well for this dress so let's just assume that Lute likes pink and girly stuff here. (Even if it's not relevant for this drawing, of course Fiyero is Charlie, this is self-indulgent for a reason so I will have both chaggi and fallenwings thank you very much). I'll stop now but uh yeah, this AU is important for me and I'll talk for years if even slightly prompted (and lbr completely unprompted too)
