Cause why not?, From Arioch } x
send an ‘x’ and my muse will confess something to yours!
There's something sticking his tongue to the roof of his mouth like glue. It should be e a s y to get this out. Words are his forte, his weapon, his self defence. Words flow from him more easier than air or ice or stardust. Words, words, words.
So why were they caught in his throat this time? Giving this confession was more difficult than pulling teeth ever was. And that was saying something, given how many teeth Lucifer had pulled.
( 208, if you were wondering. It's a Hell thing. )
But that's beside the point. The point is this confession, this thing that he's supposed to be telling Arioch.
Arioch, the mere memory of whom made him flush. He remembered brick against his back, and hands in his hair, and hot lips on his mouth (boy, did he remember that). He remembered it in a way that made his mouth go d r y.
And it's that, that thought he can't shake out of his head, that... desire, that he should be confessing. That he wants to confess.
“—I just wanted to tell you. I'm glad I found you, when I came back.”
Say it. Say it, Lucifer, damn you. Say it say it sayit sayitsayitsayit!!!!!
“And, fuck, I want to kiss you again.”
