Wonderful walk today. Took part in a bird walk and saw lots of birds. Spring is a lot of fun.
"Most entities cannot not survive Earth's environment on their own." What is the most common cause of death? Do they get eaten by Earth creatures?
It may come as a surprise to you, but even scientists are capable of making typos.
The most common cause of destruction for extraplanar entities on Earth are simply the elements. The wilderness has rough terrain and weather extreme enough to batter or kill entities, depending on their structure and individual needs. Dandylions would not be able to persist the moment a rain comes, while a Ghost in a desert would be good as dead.
Predation, from the very few occurrences it's been discovered, is capable of destroying entities while providing little to no benefit to the hunting animal.
Inktober 52 2026 - Week 11 - Bloom
The flowers still bloom despite everything.
Just toying with Bernice's character a bit. Re-reading some old stuff I've written, I've noticed that Bernice has a bit of sprinklings to her personalities than just being the sexy femme fetale. She likes movies, has a passion for insects, likes puns - all of which are details apparently Jango & the rest of the harem didn't expect.
I like to think that Bernice is the kind of person who doesn't talk about her own instincts unless its relevant - or someone actively tries to fish it out of her. Like yeah, she knows she's sexy & likes to flirt, but if you bring up how pretty butterflies are, expect her to REALLY pop off on the insect facts.
Maybe this is a rare peak behind her seductive persona, where her & Jango are out on a date to a movie. Being such a big movie fan, Bernice is getting in as much gab as she can before they get into the room. And Jango is just so happy to listen. Because girls that go on about their interests is so cute~

He's a Dandylion
Would love to hear more about the dandylions
For obvious reasons lol, or the scopopede cause i find them very funny
(I cant help but imagine scopopedes pupils jiggle around like googly eyes whenever it moves. they do trigger my phobia slightly so my cope is that they got googly eyes)
Dandylions are found exclusively in the Far Plains, particularly in areas free of obstructions such as windmills and fences. Here they often prance along the open field and spread pollen drones across pseudograss.
These pollen drones propagate blooming flowers within pseudoflora, which seems to last upwards of fourteen days before disappearing again. Pollen samples taken from Dandylions indicate that this works on flowering plants on Earth as well. However, the act of blooming so quickly uses up large amounts of the plant's energy.
The Scopopede's eyes are often able to fixate on targets regardless of head orientation, much like the behavior of birds. It has poor eye movement, though, so it compensates with its large range of movement in its neck. It is also capable of closing its eyes and does so in the presence of bright lights.
Through tests it has been observed that the Scopopede is capable of differentiating between different colors. It can also differentiate between different individual researchers and seems to have memorized some behaviors within them, allowing for slightly more efficient observation.
