Alright, Iām gonna be honest. Based on where weāre at with Dandadan, the fight scenes arenāt hitting the same. Earlier in the series, the fight scenes were pretty fun and clearly inventive, especially with how whacky Tatsuās imagination can get. But because of where the story is at, the fight scenes are starting to feel like filler.
Like, I guess itās fun to have a barber yokai fight some baddies and to have Momo do an homage to Jurassic Park. But everything feels stagnant since the fight scenes arenāt pushing the story along in a meaningful way.
Aira did a serious confession to Okarun ā> weāre gonna have to wait weeks for a resolution since they got interrupted by a fight scene
Momo lost her memories, thus getting a massive downgrade in her character ā> weāre gonna drag the shit out of this story arc in order to do Jurassic Park
Jiji is close to actually confessing to Momo ā> eaten by dinosaur, now we need to wait a few more weeks until we return to this point
I didnāt even realize just how stagnant the story had become until the most recent chapter. Usually, Iād take my time to enjoy the story. Now, I just breeze through the chapters since not much is happening in terms of story.
Just to put into perspective how much the story has stalled, Momo has been amnesiac since September 2025. This is getting WAY too old.
(EDIT: Oh, also, another thing. While this is not a deal breaker, the fight scenes are also not hitting the same since this series is so light on violence. Now Iām not going to argue that characters need to start dying. But because weāre 200+ chapters in and barely anyone has died, am I really supposed to be scared for Momo going against the spinosaurus? Or Okarun getting beat up? Or Jiji getting eaten? Thereās no tension to these fight scenes because you know that nothing bad is gonna happen to the main cast. Even Rin and Kouki got mostly spared since at the very least, theyāre still alive and can get their powers back. So we have fight scenes that donāt push the story along AND are tensionless since everyone has plot armor. Again, the fight scenes arenāt as amazing as they were in the past)
I really like this shirt from the manga so I was practicing drawing and just wanted to draw the shirt. I know it has words on it like GoldenEye or something like that but I really didn't want to put that on there.
Just funny that every time I see this show its just Ayase trying her best to survive whatever monster of the weak is attacking.

WeĀ are still working on this making sure to get it right I got a lot of lore I'm putting into this one. And I want to make sure that it comes out correctly so we're working on it still. Having so much fun with this AU. But I really want everyone to be able to enjoy it. I very much want this to be something that everyone can enjoy if they like Dandadan I love all the characters.Ā I am not into the smut or anything like that this is made for anyone and everyone to enjoy unless you're not big into the Cosmic sci-fi horror side of Dandadan.Ā If you can please share this and if you have any thoughts and maybe making it better I'm sure with me I'm trying to get better at writing.
