Dan whitehead, you will never be forgotten
Part of the discussion about Social Media:
LT: It’s a funny relationship, I suppose we all have, the lads from One Direction with social media. Because we have so much of our career to thank to it. And also, you know, I never had a platform like that when I was younger to potentially, you know, as a fan, have a voice. You know, there’s so much good in it. But you do see a lot of dark, you do see a lot of dark. And I think everyone should be conscious of just how much they are on their social media. Instagram for a start shows a very very idealistic view. And you see that every day and how ever many hours a day...you just gotto be careful, you have to be careful. You have to remember that social media is relatively new. You know what I mean? We don’t really know what it’s capable of on both ends of the spectrum.
[DW: talks about how Ed Sheeran went off of Twitter because of negativity and asks that Louis still remains committed on Twitter.]
LT: Absolutely. Because like as I said before there’s still so much good and it gives the fans the voice and I wouldn’t want to take that away from them. Twitter for example, I could just be sat in the car on the way here and I could answer 10-15 people’s questions. And that’s the positive side of it you know. And I do think that my relationship with my fans is better through social media. It’s just everyone’s gotta keep an eye on it.

Discussing a rearragement of Just Hold On:
LT: Let’s repeat JHO because I’ve rearranged it with the band recently and made it more bandy. And it’s actually pretty cool.

Louis speaking about his mum: I did the music video for Two Of Us yesterday and I played the opening verse on piano because she wanted me to play piano. So like all these little things motivate me big time, big time to be like, okay I have to do this. [DW: Because she would have been proud.] Definitely, definitely. And sometimes, like anyone, I get nervous in this job but that actually helps me. Because you know, it’s like okay, I’m determined. I’ll do it for us.

X FACTOR judges Robbie Williams and Ayda Field quit after Simon Cowell refused to increase their mega £10million pay packet.
One Direction superstar Louis Tomlinson is also poised to walk from the show, leaving Simon Cowell as the only returning judge. But he could be replaced by original judge Louis Walsh, who is a fan favourite.
[...]
The likely departure of 1D’s Louis comes as Simon overhauls the show in a big to increase ratings by moving away from civilian contestants.
The show insider explained: “X Factor will be different this year, with two distinct versions, but will go back to a more regular version next year.
“Louis wants to concentrate on his album this year. He also doesn’t like the ideas of judging celebrities and past contestants. But we hope he will return to the show as a judge in 2020.
“Robbie, Louis and Ayda are all part of the X Factor family.”
Sources close to Spice Girl Mel B, music mogul Louis Walsh, Greatest Dancer judge Cheryl and Aussie Dannii Minogue said they had yet to be approached about a return, but that is standard for X Factor where new judges usually sign deals in May.
The X Factor launched in 2004 with a three-strong judging panel of Cowell, Walsh and Osbourne.
