Vlad Should Really Get Dan Some Therapy. He Can Afford The Good Kind.

spinning around what i think happened in those 10 years… right after becoming phantom, he returned to amity park, only to find that his former classmates and tormentors were throwing a party in his family's empty house.

(Rather than trying to absorb a ghost blatantly shown to possess more raw power than him, albeit with less control)

This leaves the new Dan obsessed with building a family for himself, and obtaining the power needed to protect them from anything, or anyone who would take them away from him. And he is absolutely willing to kill anyone who gets in his way.

And while halfa!Dan is absolutely weaker than full ghost Dan(or even halfa Danny), this is remedied by Plasmius’s superior control over his powers.(also the only ghosts who could really give him trouble can’t be bothered to fight him)

Human Danny retained his emotions unlike phantom, including all his grief over the loss of his loved ones. (this is why he’s able to co-opt some of Vlad’s preexisting obsessions when merged, rather than being taken over completely like phantom)

Phantom left all his grief behind with human!Danny, so he has no reason to go apeshit unless provoked.

Phantom(Danny’s severed ghost half) is just left emotionlessly roaming the universe with no end goal in sight.(he only went rogue because of Vlad’s evil, which he does not have here)

Human!Vlad actually does much better here than in cannon due to the new Dan not having anything to gain from slaughtering humanity.

Vlad is still abandoned here, though, because Dan remembers how Vlad repeatedly tried to bring harm to his family and wants no part of that. Vlad gets one warning not to start shit because Dan will kill him if he does.

Dan goes to live with his aunt Alicia because she is actually a part of his family unlike Vlad.
