Wish Danzen was more popular :( Chozen was nasty evil obsessed with Daniel but then turned into a hilarious and Ride Or Die Prince Charming! What’s not to love? :)
Also, Danzen Omegaverse would have been so good! Psycho Alpha Chozen getting totally humbled by sassy Omega Daniel and then getting wrapped around his finger in the process. And unlike like Terry, Chozen would not play mind games with Daniel, and would never hurt him after he got humbled. Chozen is also clever, wise, honorable, and a troll who sometimes operates on one brain cell.
Chozen would totally dote on Daniel and kill anyone who looked at him wrong, and they would love to watch terrible reality TV together! And they both honor and respect Miyagi-do and would never blaspheme it!
And there’s the whole hot atonement period where young, humiliated and shunned Chozen finds compassion and forgiveness in affectionate (and super cute) young Daniel… 😏
Danzen is adorable! But for me Danzen is 2/3 of the thruple of Damikozen. There's something going on between all three of them, in equal measure: Chozen/Kumiko, Kumiko/Daniel, Daniel/Chozen, and in the third film Daniel looked completely out of sorts because they threw away those relationships because the protagonist of these three films needed a new girl in each one. Only you have Ralph playing his relationships as meaningful and yes, then you get a completely heartbroken Daniel in film three. Little man was Going Through It losing Kumiko (and Chozen!) It would have been a completely natural ending for him to go to Okinawa, intern at Doyona, romance Kumiko and Chozen would always be around because even head over heels for Kumiko Daniel was still flirting with him. But to ask that of a Hollywood film, and one made in the 1980's. I completely agree with all you've written, only that Kumiko would be in there too and Chozen would be like the spice in their life because they are both adorably sweet and Chozen is feral, and has a thing for both of them. And Kumiko could be like "My boys 🥰" when they spar together and both she and Chozen could be "Look at that idiot" about Daniel and she and Daniel could be like that about Chozen and they could both be "Look at her go" about Kumiko.
Of course this could also be pure Danzen but the show wasn't wrong, in my book, that Kumiko is always part of their dynamic somehow.
Terry is what happens when you're in a terrible place - breakup with the one that got away - and he gets you when you're already feeling raw and twisted, but by rights, in the good timeline, Daniel moved to Okinawa and Lucille has an apartment there for fabulous vacations and they are all beautiful and fabulous and a little wild together and sometimes Daniel comes with Kumiko to the States because she's touring and he needs to massage her feet, while Chozen stays behind in Okinawa until they return (he has a dojo to run).
