Bisous Bisous Lawsuit 👇 Good Day Y'all 😃 Nothing happens by accident or overnight despite what most folks think. Successful OPPORTUNITIES are usually disguised has hard work and dedication, so most folks don't recognize them. 😉 I'm sitting at @bisousbisouspatisserie in Uptown Dallas. It happens to be one of my favorite patisserie shops of all time. Chef Andrea and her culinary team are absolutely amazing. They are in the middle of a lawsuit to protect the business she's worked so hard to build. Chef Ander Myer: " Well, it has been a crazy busy month or so and boy do I have updates for you on our trademark infringement case against Bisou Dallas. You’ve all been so kind to continue supporting us and for donating to our Gofundme page, I thought it only right that you should know where we stand. 📄We filed a complaint with the court asking for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction to have the infringing restaurant cease using our name immediately. 👩⚖️I’m so happy (and validated!) to report that as of 8/11, the judge ruled in our favor and they were instructed to immediately cease using “Bisou” in all parts of their business. This shows that our complaint of infringement on our trademarks has merit. Geek out over the 31 page ruling if you want, it’s public record. 🤬As of this post, they have NOT stopped using our name in all aspects of their business and are openly defying the court’s instruction. Y’all, who does this!? 🤦♀️ No matter how much they want to use the name, I wanted it more, I had it first and I put my whole life into building Bisous. 🤍 Stay tuned to our stories to see the history of what it’s taken to create the bakery you know and love.
