Alluka-like reader with The Grand Priest,Whis and Lord Beerus
The Grand Priest
Daishinkan doesn't see you as just a child;he sees you as a dual natured anomaly that requires absolute precision. He is for sure the one who memorized every "rule" of your wish-granting side,treating the Nanika entity with the same terrifyingly polite respect he shows the Zenos.
When he approaches you,his voice drops to a lower,measured frequency. He knows that he's talking to a 15 year old who just wants to be loved,but he never forgets that "Nanika" is listening too. Heâs the only one who can fulfill your "requests" without showing a single flicker of fear on his face.
If the Nanika side takes over,the Grand Priest doesn't flinch. He stands before your hollow,black eyes with a serene smile,ready to negotiate the "price" for whatever you're about to ask. He treats the exchange like a business transaction,impeccably calm even if the cost ends up being something catastrophic.
Sometimes,when you are just yourself and youâre feeling lonely,heâll let you sit near his staff while he works. He won't play games,but heâll provide a silent,powerful presence that makes you feel safe. He sees you as a unique piece of the multiverse that must be preserved at all costs.
He doesn't just "babysit" you;he treats your 15 year old self like a high ranking apprentice. He teaches you how to control your impulses,knowing that an emotional outburst from a Nanika-like being is a potential multiversal threat. Itâs a strange,platonic mentorship where he is incredibly patient,never raising his voice,but always maintaining that chillingly polite distance.
There is a dark,latent tension in his care. While he is protective,there is always the underlying truth that if Nanika ever became truly uncontrollable,he would be the one to deal with it. You can see it in the way his eyes never truly soften;he cares for you as a vital part of the cosmic order,but his loyalty is to the balance of the universes first.
Only him and the zenos truly know the origin of the entity inside you. When youâre asleep,he often watches over you for a moment longer than necessary,his hands clasped behind his back. He views you as someone who doesn't belong to the mortal realm nor the divine,but exists in the beautiful,terrifying space in between.
Whis
Whis genuinely enjoys the "Alluka" side of you. He finds your energy and your desire to play a refreshing break from Beerusâs constant napping or Gokuâs obsession with fighting. Heâs always bringing you exotic sweets from Earth,using them as "rewards" for keeping your mood stable and happy throughout the day.
He is a master at navigating your requests. If Alluka starts asking for simple things like "Whis,give me a piggyback ride" or "Whis,braid my hair" he agrees instantly with a graceful chuckle. He knows that fulfilling these tiny,innocent demands keeps Nanika "asleep" and satisfied,and he treats it like a high stakes,graceful game of strategy.
Despite his neutral nature,heâs grown protective of you in an almost human way. If Goku or Vegeta get too loud or start sparring too close to you,heâll move them away with a sharp tap of his staff and a look that says theyâre being "unnecessarily reckless". He doesn't want anything to disturb you.
When Nanika emerges,Whisâs tone shifts instantly. He becomes incredibly formal and attentive. He isn't afraid,but he treats the entity inside you as a peer,speaking to "it" with a softness that masks the incredible latent tension in the air.
Since youâre 15,Whis tries to help you develop a life outside of...whatever that is. He teaches you how to appreciate the small details of Beerusâs planet or how to refine your palate for gourmet food. He wants you to have a strong personality,hoping that a happy heart will keep Nanikaâs more destructive impulses at bay.
Thereâs a constant latent tension whenever Goku or Vegeta are around. They don't understand that you aren't "strong" in a fighting sense,but that you can bypass the laws of the multiverse. Whis has to constantly warn them,and it's not very useful anyway...
Though he acts aloof,thereâs a latent tension in his eyes when youâre asleep. He knows that as you get older,the power inside you might grow. He often spends his nights looking at the stars,wondering if heâs doing enough to make sure Alluka stays the dominant side of your soul.
Behind that calm,smiling mask,Whis is acutely aware that you are a being he might not be able to "undo". If Nanika ever made a request he couldn't fulfill,the fallout would be beyond even his control. This creates a deep,hidden tension in their relationship as heâs incredibly kind to you,but thereâs a flicker of alertness in his eyes every time you open your mouth to speak,waiting to see which side of you is talking.
Lord Beerus
Beerus is a God of Destruction,but he is absolutely spooked by the "Nanika" side of you. Heâs seen what happens when it gets a no,and he has no desire to be the next victim of it. He treats you with a level of cautious politeness that he usually only reserves for Zeno.
Heâs realized that a happy Alluka means a sleeping Nanika. Whenever youâre around,he becomes uncharacteristically generous with his snacks. "Here,take this premium pudding and go sit in the corner" heâll mutter,pushing a plate toward you. Itâs not out of the goodness of his heart;itâs a strategic bribe to keep its requests at zero for the day.
Beerus has a mental list of things he will never do for you. If you ask him for a "piggyback ride" he visibly breaks into a cold sweat. Heâll look at Whis with a panicked expression,silently begging the angel to intervene before he has to choose betwen dying of embarrassment or triggering a catastrophe.
Despite his grumbling,heâs strangely protective. If a random planet conqueror or a cocky mortal gets too close to you,Beerus will probably delete them before they can even speak. "They were annoying me" heâll claim,but in reality,heâs terrified they might accidentally trigger one of your requests and get the whole universe erased.
If you decide to take a nap near him,Beerus stays perfectly still. He doesn't want to accidentally bump into you or wake you up in a way that Nanika might find "disrespectful". The sight of a terrifying God of Destruction sitting frozen while a teenager snoozes nearby is a source of endless amusement for Whis. Over time,when he gets more...used to it heâll even let you curl up at the end of his massive bed,acting like he doesn't notice,as long as you don't wake him up with a request for his pillow.
He'll ends up growning used to your presence. He likes that you aren't obsessed with power levels or fighting like Goku and Vegeta. Youâre just a kid who wants to share a snack,and as long as it doesn't start making "requests" he actually finds your company...tolerable.
When Goku and Vegeta are making too much noise during their sparring sessions,Beerus will use you as a threat. "Keep it down,or I'll let the kid ask you for a favor!" and let's be honest,Goku does NOT understand the gravity of the matter until something unpleasant happens.

I find it funny to imagine studying ASL and interacting with the reader. It's even funnier if Zenon is perhaps angry at Beerus, but still stops to "listen" to the reader's suggestion.

Okay, so, I had a super long version of this one, but it got lost :( I wanted to redo it, but this has been sitting in my drafts for months

đ¸ Shin (Supreme Kai)
Shin is SO gentle about learning ASL. He studies like his life depends on it.
Practices each sign painfully slowly at first, eyebrows furrowed, concentrating like heâs defusing a bomb.
He gets embarrassed when he makes mistakes, his ears twitch and turn pink.
You always reassure him with a smile or a soft touch and he instantly brightens.
Loves having tea with you because itâs quiet, calm, and he can watch your hands move as you sign. He thinks it's beautiful.
Starts signing even when he talks out loud, just to reinforce the language.
Gets protective over you when others donât understand or keep messing up your signs.
Lowkey proud that he is the one you go to when you want true peace and gentle conversation.
đ Whis
Of COURSE he learns ASL in like two hours.
Not only learns it, he becomes absurdly elegant with it. His signs are fluid, graceful, almost like a dance.
Loves having tea with you because it allows full conversations without speaking, a type of communication he finds ârefreshingly refined.â
He catches small details in your expression and immediately adjusts.
Whis is also the one who teaches Beerus and Shin when they struggle, gently teasing them in the process.
He absolutely compliments your signing technique, as if youâre performing art.
Sometimes purposely exaggerates his signing to make you laugh.
If you teach him slang signs⌠he uses them on Beerus at the worst possible moments.
đ Beerus
Pretends he doesnât care about learning ASL. Says things like:
âWhy would I need that? You understand me just fine.â
Lies.
He practices behind everyoneâs back, usually at night while eating snacks.
Whis catches him once and never lets him forget it.
Beerus gets competitive when he sees Shin signing more fluidly than him.
His hands are surprisingly accurate but his expressions are always dramatic.
When he signs âIâm hungry,â it looks like a death threat.
If you sign something cute or affectionate?
He pretends he didnât melt.
If Zeno signs at him faster than he can understand, he pretends he understood and just rolls with it, hoping Whis will rescue him.
Secretly enjoys when you correct him, because it means youâre watching him.
đ¤ Grand Priest
Learns ASL instantly and perfectly... of course.
Treats it with deep respect, almost as a ceremonial language.
His signing is pristine, crisp, and almost unnervingly silent.
He loves asking questions about human communication, fascinated by the nuance.
Talks with you during walks, hands moving smoothly, barely even looking down because he doesnât need to; he already memorized every sign.
Sometimes helps refine your signs if you use regional variations; not because he thinks theyâre wrong, but because he wants to understand all versions.
Often translates for Zeno or the angels when things get chaotic.
Gives you small smiles every time you thank him.
đ Zeno
His signing is FAST. Chaotic. Wrong sometimes. But he tries so hard.
Loves the visual element of sign language, itâs playful, expressive, like a game.
If heâs yelling at Beerus, and you tap his shoulder or sign to him?
He STOPS. Instantly.
Looks at you like âYes?? What was that?? Tell me!!â
Beerus is both relieved and offended.
Zeno loves when you sign stories or jokes to him, he watches with the purest childish joy.
Sometimes repeats your signs with exaggerated movements because itâs funny.
Every time you pat his head or give him a supportive smile after he tries a complicated sign, he vibrates like an excited puppy.
He likes signing âfriendâ with you over and over again.
Tea with Whis and Shin
Whis pours tea while signing to Shin about something refined and philosophical. Shin responds softly, his movements slow and careful.
You join them and Whis lights up, switching into perfect, elegant ASL.
Itâs peaceful, quiet, the only sound is the clink of porcelain and the soft swish of Whisâs staff as he pours tea.
Shin hangs onto every sign you make, smiling warmly.
It becomes usual.
Zeno vs Beerus (Interrupted by You)
Beerus is panicking because Zeno is mid-lecture, arms flapping dramatically.
You walk up to them, tap Zeno lightly, and sign:
âHe didnât mean to. Maybe give him one more chance?â
Zenoâs entire face softens.
He nods at you.
Beerus is saved.
He will never admit heâs grateful.
Whis Teaching Beerus
Whis: âLord Beerus, no, that means something VERY differentââ
Beerus: âWHY ARE THERE SO MANY SIGNS?!â
You: (trying not to laugh)
Whis: âBecause communication is important, my Lord.â
Beerus: âI COMMUNICATE JUST FINE.â
(He does not.)
