Abortion. Let’s talk about this for a moment. So today, I asked my sister what her views were on this hell going on in America. She said some things that are extremely truthful, but also some that weren’t too thought through.

Abortion is one of them. 

Now, you may be thinking, “Well if the woman doesn’t want a child, I don’t see why not! It’s her choice!”

Let me say this. If it is her choice as you say, tell me when it was her choice. Tell me exactly when the woman can turn away from wanting to have a child. Oh yeah, it’s the time when she decided to have sex. THAT was the time to make the choice, not now. And if you just have to go to that length, there is something called protection. When you choose not to use it, you are signing up for having a child.

The “My body my choice” movement sickens me. It WAS your choice when you decided to have sex. You made that choice for yourself. Now, you are killing an innocent child, all because you were too damn irresponsible. Because you were too lazy to wear protection, you are taking away a life. And don’t go screaming, “But I regret it! So therefore I shouldn’t have the baby!” Bullshit. You gave consent. You had every opportunity to say no. You made your choice long ago.

That is two eyes that will never see. That is two hands that will never touch. That is one soul that will never fulfill its purpose. That is one human being who has every right you have, who you have just killed because of your actions.

It doesn’t matter if the child is unborn. It is still a living thing, and it still deserves the right to live just as much as you do. Killing it for “your body” is selfish, cruel, irresponsible, and horrible. I hope you are proud of yourselves.

Now let’s look at the flipside.

I can understand abortion if it is with reason. Such as, when an abuser does certain things to you, I can see it being justified. Being tied to them in that way could be hard. You are still killing an innocent child, but I can understand a bit more if you just don’t want to remember those experiences.

There has to be a way to do this better. I don’t think abortion should become completely illegal, due to the listed above, but I don’t think it should remain open to public. Is there not a way for the government to keep track of who has been abused? Could someone bring in some documents to be eligible for the abortion if an abuser did get a hold of them. That is what I think would be fair.
