ok patroclus thought that achilles was handsome but what about the other side of the relationship. what about achilles thinking patroclus is the most beautiful thing he ever saw, that he is the only one he would kneel for. what about patroclus not caring about achilles beauty. what about patroclus only complimenting achilles with the things he liked about his personality and traits. what if that's what drawn achilles to patroclus. that he heard people calling him pretty so many times that someone calling him interesting made him go towards patroclus. what if the first (and probably last) time patroclus said achilles' eyes reminded him of an olive, achilles had to bite his own tongue to not immediately jump on patroclus. what if achilles was as devoted to patroclus that patroclus was to him. what if achilles was even more devoted, but people didn't know it. what if patroclus was the most important thing to achilles until pride and glory became more important and that it caused achilles downfall.
