let’s get you ready for bedtime, little one. i can see how hard it is for you to keep those pretty eyes open. daddy has allll the things he needs to get you all settled on the for the night.
first we’ll give you a nice bath, wash your hair, scrub you all squeaky clean.
toweling you dry, you’ll see your bedtime outfit on the bed as i carry you into the bedroom nursery:
first, some lotion, to keep your lovely skin nice and soft and hydrated and smooth, just like a little baby.
then daddy will gently lay you down, and unfold and fluff up this big, thick, babyish diaper.
lifting you up by your ankles like a helpless baby, the diaper goes right under your round little bottom, crinkling softly as i lower your leggies into the soft embrace of your nighttime padding.
then time for rash cream on your bottom, and all over your most sensitive parts, no diaper rashes allowed here.
poofy clouds of lavender baby powder coating you and the inside of your diaper, because the smell makes you feel so tiny and vulnerable and oh so baby.
then we tape you into this adorable, super thick, babyish diaper: one tape, two tapes, three tapes, four!
and daddy’s perfect little baby giggles as i tickle your tummy before lifting you up to sitting.
a soft onesie goes right over your head, and we button all 4 buttons.
then some squeezes of your newly diapered bottom, the soft crinkles music to both of our ears, before we get you all tucked in under the covers.
daddy slides a paci into your mouth, and a stuffy into your arms.
and then i wrap you up in my arms, my little babyish spoon, and pat your bottom until you fall asleep.
