liam ,before one direction, performing use somebody by kings of leon.

Being 14 in 2010 meant One Direction was at the forefront of everything teenage me did or thought of. And, even today at 28, they still are. Now more than ever. (As I clearly still have a blog based around one of the members.)

Liam was, and still is, a big part of the boyband who took the world by storm. Many of us remember him as "Daddy Direction". He was the dad of the group. But many of us were also too young to realize what the role actually meant. To us, Liam was just the dad caring for his four hyper and chaotic brothers while on tour. But underneath, Liam took a lot of heat. Some one did or said something wrong? "Liam, why did YOU let that happen?"

His strength was within the four boys he formed a bond with that none of us can comprehend. When the band went separate ways Liam lost the only thing he ever knew. All of them did. But to him it was harder. It is so painful realizing he was chasing to find himself again.

This led him to detrimental actions and decisions. Liam deserved help for the accountability of his choices. He deserved support. He didn't deserve the vile half of the words shouted and posted about him when his tunnel of light was shrinking. He was screaming so loudly and no one bothered to hear him. Until it was too late.

Some people might disagree with the above statement (I've seen the posts) but again, he needed and deserved help. We saw it all unravel. Everyone did.

Liam,

I hope you can see how much of an impact you had. I hope you can see how many people cared about you. And most of all, I hope you are finally finding peace.

if you read this, thank you. I felt like I needed to say something as I've been processing and still processing this news. It truly feels like some horrible dream.
