Ok ok I know it's been done many times before, but hcs about the djolings as dads? At any age, dealers choice. IF they were to have kids at all. And would it be on purpose, or an accident and rolling with it?
okay, so truthfully i’m not a fan of stranger things and never watched/finished it so steve will not be included in this — however, from what i know about him he seems very ready to be a father AND would probably be a great one! :)
gator & teacake as dads below!
i think at a certain point in his life, gator would be 100% willing to settle down and have kids. i’m biased to girls (because i am one) and i think he’d be a great girl dad. he’d raise some tough kiddos, let me tell you.
i think gator would be the type to encourage his kid to play out in the dirt; to bring frogs in the house and come back in after a day outside all busted up (he’s a firm believer that if you don’t come home with at least one injury, you didn’t have nearly enough fun).
he’d want everything he never had for his kid, obviously. and i think if he raised a couple of girls they might turn out more tomboyish simply because of how much gator has a hand in their interests.
if he could get a parade started for the day his kid finally rode a bike across the street without training wheels, he would.
all’s the same for if he were to have a boy. only difference would probably be the pressure encouragement to play sports!
—
teacake on the other hand, father of an only child in my mind. yes it’s a girl and no i will not elaborate.
that kid is his LIFE. and so are you. every single lockscreen, background, desktop etc. is a picture of you and his kiddo.
i’d picture him as a stay at home dad, (bc he works nights) and in the ages where your kid isn’t old enough for pre-school but is too old for day care, he’d be home with her all day. but they probably wouldn’t be home much at all. they’d be outside playing, at the park, the aquarium, the arcade, you name it.
hell, sometimes he’ll just take her out to the grocery store so they can work on spelling and phonetics. i think he’d have a HUGE hand in teaching his kid how to really talk and hold a conversation!
doctors would be impressed with how well your kid speaks for how young they are, but it’s really because her dad is the biggest yapper known to man.
if he had a daughter that was more into girlier things, i think teacake would 100% sit through a tea party or fashion show. he’d even get into it enough to know all the names of her stuffed animals and dolls, and go as far as to hold full conversations with them. if it makes his baby girl laugh and smile, he’s all for it!
he’s also funny as hell and will absolutely let you take pictures of him all dolled up after a “daddy makeover” — however, he is not as thrilled when they end up posted online for his birthday that year.

Comin' home and drink a few beers. Watching over my kids while my mind runs wild, can't help but grow aroused and get off to family photos and my sleeping kiddos.
Wayne wrangling Eddie into being more responsible and independent because “if you want to date a single parent of six, you’re gonna need to be there for the kids, son.”
Wayne sitting Eddie down and giving him the dad talk.
"Son, when you were ten and showed up on my doorstep, head shaved, skinny little fella, I promised myself I was going to be there for you no matter what, and I think I have been."
"Wayne, you're the best honestly I–"
"You've got a whole pack of kids on your doorstep now Ed and a frankly knackered mother, using protection isn't going to get you out of this one I'm afraid."
"Wayne they're fourteen! Steve's not even their legal guardian! Well Max maybe but that's up in the ai–"
"You gotta get a job and provide for your kids, boy, Steve can't be the only one bringing home to bacon for all your mouths to feed, you gotta step up for your kids."
Eddie knows there's no use fighting this, Wayne had already adopted Steve as his new son in law and the party as his grandkids, he'll start looking for a job in the morning.
ive seen you talk kindly about your father, then read he was a conservative, trump voter. how can you like a man like that??
omg cause in the real world people are complicated and imperfect and not everything is done with vicious intentions.
my father was conservative, yes, but he also taught me the importance of voting. he knew we were opposites when it came to politics but he never tried to sway me in his direction, so I respected him enough to do the same. he drilled into my head how being able to vote was a right and a privilege and one I, especially as a woman, shouldn't take for granted.
he never said I couldn't do something because I was a woman. he just taught me how. I know how to do so much handiwork because of him. I know all about a multitude of sports because he answered my endless questions for years on end. we were the only two in the family who enjoyed football, so he'd take me to games and explain every single thing to me- never missed a beat. If there was ever a time a woman was belittled or told she couldn't do something, he made sure to let everyone know that women could do anything.
he was strong in his faith. never wavered, even during the worst of his cancer. he was a hard worker and a great listener. if I complained to my mom about work, she'd tell me, "well, get a new job. a better one with better pay," but she didn't listen to my problems. my dad listened and would offer advice if I needed it, or just listen if that's all I needed.
my dad was not a perfect man, but he was a good man. he loved me unconditionally. I will miss him for the rest of my life.
In an interview, he mentions the Leica is a less popular one due to the dial, but he likes it. Cameras remind me of my dad since it was a hobby he was very into and he bought a Panasonic-Leica, but he had a Contax for a long time.
He was never impressed by my crushes and they had a shared nickname of “long-‘aired git” because bands I liked tended to start off with short hair and then grow it, and some fashionable stubble, because people live their lives 🤷🏻♀️ But he’d be interested in the cameras, especially the older style one in the photo with Connor Jessup. I don’t suppose it’s a Rolleiflex? That would cause excitement.
For decades, I didn’t see Contax cameras anywhere else while Pentax was quite popular so it’s a funny coincidence to see Griffin holding one. I can’t tell who the others are made by.
I’m not sure if the one in the Tall Girl 2 promo (blue jacket) is his or a prop for the photoshoot.
I ordered these roughly by date, but I was guessing a lot.
Group photos in order - with the Middle School cast, Cruel Summer cast, Locke (and Key) family, Cruel Summer cast again, Connor Jessup, Noah Jupe (in black) and Jack Dylan Grazer (shiny suit).

Told my 80 y.o. dad about my knee situation & he chewed me out for doing so much for my chickens, hauling water & food...I need to take it easy and scale back on the chickens, he said. I got real quiet. He said well alright talk to you later. 😤 I'm supposed to sit around and do nothing!? I'm supposed to scale back one area of my life I enjoy and actually keeps me moving!? Yea, thanks for the demotivating dad talk. Actually, I am more motivated than ever to get my egg stand going, and my world-class chicken run built😃 I like to say I have bougie chickens, they know it too.
