well.

i made the planting system system exactly as i want it today. which i personally think is impressive. even if i probably should have realised earlier that the problem was that there was no OBJECT and only a CLASS for the location indicator and thus i needed to spawn the object at the right moment. but i did realise.

My brother thinks it’s too much like spyro and im like.... i have implemented 1/6 systems. please..... but he thought the movement was nice.

i assume i will have to uproot the whole thing another 20 times in the future when i learn more about parents and children, particle emitters and how the hell to introduce a third mode beyond ‘plant’ and ‘fight’. booleans...pls....how the fuck am i gonna change this to a multigate node....

i guess it’s time for combat and animations? the problem with animations is that you need 3d models that animations can be accurately applied to - i believe
