that his father is alive and well. i don't know if i like the whole idea of gabriel being a secret spy, like i just think he can be a shit father and want nothing to do with their kid without having a motive like that. kyle wouldn't even call it a secret, really. because he doesn't consider gabriel to be his father and gave up on trying to get close with him or have a bond when gabriel dismissed him when they met. so as far as he's concerned, he has no father

he honestly really loves all his nicknames, but ky is short and sweet and to the point. also a nickname everyone can use no matter what the relationship / dynamic is, though he probably secretly likes it a lot when a parental or mentor like figure uses it ( purely because he's never really had either, minus his mom )

definitely his friends, and especially romantic partners. not even because of alex's death, kind of, but he's had very few people who have stuck around in his life, or had deep connections in general, so kyle really tries to do right by them and make them proud
