If D-Structs were to get a redemption arc, I want him to slowly and agonizingly crawl through restitution, accountability, responsibility, and trying, and failing, to fix the damages he caused.

I want him to truly look at the Trux he had hurt, feel the unbearable weight of guilt and regret that he never experienced before, and be CRUSHED by it. I want him to do good deeds, either by force or choice, and each time he does, he has to grapple with the voices in his head telling him that he is still the monster he used to be, and he will never be anything more than that.

I want him to rescue Trux in situations where he recklessly and unnecessarily sacrifices his metal parts as an unhealthy coping mechanism for his extreme self-loathing.
