The beach Paula has dragged us to is called McWay Falls, falls because there is a small waterfall ending up in the sea. It looks like straight out of a travel brochure for the Caribbeans, a piece of paradise.

Just finished my summer trip back to Prague, and I’ve posted all the photos & timelapses already on instagram, so go check them out on my profile.

AVERAGE HOURS OF SLEEP: I strive for 8, and I make sure to get this average back up over the weekends.

LAST THING I GOOGLED:I’m pretty sure it was me looking up some cool place that I saw on tumblr or instagram, and where I’d want to go, even if I know I’ll never go there. I do this too often. 

FAVORITE FICTIONAL CHARACTER: For some reason I feel like I identify well with Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother. Make of that what you will.

NUMBER OF BLANKETS I SLEEP UNDER: Just one big one. 

FAVORITE ARTIST/BAND:  Hmm, hard to choose just one, but I listen to Coldplay, the Arctic Monkey and this one Czech band you’ve probably never heard of on loop everyday. 

DREAM JOB: I’m so jealous of what @chrisburkard gets to do as a job! I’d love to travel the world, go out on adventures and take photos, but it seems like there are too many photographers nowadays, so it’s unlikely to come true. 

WHAT I’M WEARING RIGHT NOW: Pajamas because it’s still early Saturday morning.

WHEN DID YOU CREATE THIS BLOG: July 2013

CURRENT NUMBER OF FOLLOWERS: 13k (it’s amazing how crazy tumblr gets when it comes to original gifs)

WHAT DO YOU POST ABOUT: This is a photography blog, where I post photos from my travels, so it’s usually landscape or cityscape. Right now, you’ll most likely get photos from the mountains of Switzerland or way too many photos of Prague (sorry, but I can’t hep myself when Prague is so beautiful.) Oh and I also post gifs (usually timelapse gifs) and it seems like the gifs are the only reason people follow me.

WHEN DID YOUR BLOG REACH ITS PEAK: There were many peaks, but I’d say August 2015, when on one day I had five posts on radar, that’s pretty hard to top.

WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO GET A TUMBLR: After freshman year of high school, when everybody in my class seemed to have a tumblr. I wasn’t really interested in making one until I moved from Prague, when I decided I’d have a blog where I’d keep my Czech friends updated on what I’ve been up to. In other words, it was for a completely different reason than for which I have it now.

DO YOU GET ASKS ON A DAILY BASIS: Hahaha no. I hardly ever get an ask unless I make the radar. Maybe I shouldn’t answer all my asks on private so that people see I actually respond to questions.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR URL: So I’m Czech, so I obviously had to have a pun using the word “czech,” but phrases like “czech me out” or “czechmate” were taken. And because I have this last name that this one Czech count used to have, and because all my czech friends used to call me count, I decided to put the two together. I thought it was a good idea at the time, not so sure now.

I don’t know who to tag now, but I’ll tag some photographers that you should follow if you don’t already, and who knows, maybe they’ll answer these questions as well (although in no way are they obliged to do so) :)

I was just there this summer and feel like I know the exact place this was taken! Aah, Skye was really awesome!
