Drunk/sloppy kiss

Celebration or not, an entirely inebriated Shadowrunner was usually a dead Shadowrunner. Even within their own little safety net area, such as the one Cypher currently enjoyed, it would always be a risk and reward type of activity. Granted, the scrappy young thing did deserve a little rest and relaxation after the mind fuckery that she’d just cleaned up nigh on single-handedly, not to mention her detours to get to know his family’s woes and assumingly, everyone else’s in the area. If her performance tonight was any indication, Cypher just didn’t know when to quit. 

After all, he had the good sense to infer that whatever the state of the world, she would always be her number one enemy. Gods above only knew what went on in her head, despite looking put together, her decision making left much to be desired at times. Kind though, real kind. Got a… what do you say, a charitable spirit? Yeah, that was Cypher, wild as fuck but she’d go to bat for her people or even just someone in need. Freddie often wondered how she wasn’t rotting in a gutter somewhere, and if her drunken boasting was to be believed, a heroine twice over. 

And though it wasn’t really his place tonight, he was a guest not a bouncer, Ambrose still inclined his head to him in that universal way of saying ‘time to show this one out.’ Not because Cypher was rowdy- well, not any rowdier than when she was sober- but Ambrose had rather taken a shine to the elven woman, as many had.  

Freddie had no qualms hoisting her up, to a troll like himself, who took great care in his physical ability due to pride and also necessity, she weighed about as an empty wooden crate.  Despite her momentary protests as he carried her , she probably enjoyed being manhandled like this anyways, didn’t have an embarrassed bone in her body so-to-speak either. She did what she did and she moved on, it was borderline hilarious.

“Wait, w-wait,” she slurred, flailing her dark hands in front of his eyes before latching onto his jaw and simply holding it. He stood very still, forced to bend his head and shoulders forward, curl around the limber elf he held in his grip, to both stay out of the torrential rain that hit Heoi and not scrape his horns against the awning.

“You gonna puke, Cy?” he also had no problem simply dropping her on her ass if that were the case, she’d survived worse. 

Glazed golden eyes observed him, half-lidded, as if she hadn’t heard the question in the first place. He meant to ask her again when she used her grip to pull herself forward, banging their faces together. She doesn’t let her nose, or for the matter his, stop her for long. It comes to her mind that she might get further tilting her head. So, she does, sloppily sliding her lips across his, flickering her tongue out to run lazily across the expanse of one of his tusks. He stood very still, coiled tightly as he was. 

“You’re drunk.” he deadpanned, unimpressed but not entirely displeased.  Not that Cypher was any less than obvious about her interests or advances when she was sober, but- man, come on. He was a bouncer, saw too much of this shit daily. Liquid courage was not something he’d ever think Cypher needed, she made stupid decisions regularly uninhibited. 

“You’re handsome.” seeing that he didn’t respond at all, much less favorably, she heaved a dramatic sigh, flinging her body back to hang as limply from his arms as a conscious person could. “Okay, fine, fine. A rain check then, Freddie boy?”

Before he could respond she burst into giggles, limply tossing her hand in the direction of the… the rain. He was relatively sure it wasn’t originally intended to be a pun but she had thoroughly distracted herself from him for the time being.

“I’m getting you back to your safe boat before you- I don’t fucking know, fall into the ocean. Would be a shame, after all.”

☆ - happy headcanon

Quicksilver (Courier Six) - She discovered very quickly that cooking with her inner circle or lover was much more fun and relaxing than cooking on her own. Even if it’s only throwing some water and random crap into a pot over an open flame. She’s found it makes her just as happy as tinkering or coding does. Raul teaching her how to make tamales was memorable, as was Cass showing her how to make bathtub gin. Veronica’s cooking leaves much to be desired though… 

Lavinia (AU Sole Survivor) - Happens to love being held or just generally openly touchy-feely. She’s always felt like she had to be composed, untouchable, especially after… well- everything she did and was a part of. Though once she’s able to work past that baggage and come into a better version of herself, she is the first to throw herself into her friends arms when they get back, or punch them playfully.

Cyper (SR:HK protag)- This one actually seriously loves her foster father and brother more than a lot of things, even her found family, though having to choose really tore her up. Though it was several months, spent in the house she grew up in (where, as a side note, she finally got to decorate her own room.), she’s becoming extremely comfortable. She has her stability back, her foster-family, she helps Duncan out of occasion. Plus, she gets to visit with her old team & old friends at the Seamstresses Union every so often, life is good.

■ - Bedroom/house/living quarters

Quicksilver - For someone who generates a very “put-together/confident” aura, her designated living space is hilariously messy. Whether it be her apartment at the Tops, the Sink in Big M.T, or the Lucky 38 penthouse suite, there is at least one pile of scrap metal, unconnected circuits, robotic guts, robco-termlink snippets and notes. At one point the entirety of Victor’s securitron unit was dragged out across the floor of the penthouse for months. If you haven’t guessed, she’s into robotics. The good news is her method may be madness works for her, and her living space cleanliness (besides the mechanical menagerie) is top notch.

Lavinia - She has always liked things just a very exact certain way, it is most notable in her workspaces but her living space suffers from the same perfectionism as well.. Her residence in Higgs was always organized, but unlike 8’s, it had a warm quality that made it so much more telling than the cold sterility of her labspace. Her home, where she sleeps, that’s where she strives to feel the most comfortable.

Cyper - As a child, she never had a room. She had a space, a dumpster or what not and it was never permanent. When she and Duncan went to live with Raymond, she had a room of her own and was expected to keep it perfect. It left little room for her to use decoration as a way to express herself, though she didn’t really care for it because she finally felt safe. This became a bit of theme throughout her life, even her room on the Bolthole (Since re-named, The Kraken) only had the barest hints of sentimentality (pictures of Duncan, their team, junk she’d picked up along the way.)
