I recommended one of my friends' blog to someone in my class yesterday b/c we had an assignment where we brought in a bunch of art that we liked and hung it up on the wall and talked about what our collections had in common - and I was talking to this kid, and told them that they had a lot of the same kind of aesthetic tastes as my friend.
And they acted like I was crazy. Like "Uhh. Right. Okay." It actually hurt my feelings that they acted like that. It was part of a conversation. It's not like I was trying to market anybody, I was just telling them something they might really like. That kind of attitude also really confuses me. You're in art school??? to learn??? about art??? and I gave you a reference to things you might like???
This happens a lot, surprisingly. I don't understand how people go through studio classes and don't write down a single recommendation or name that professors and other students give them. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LEARN THINGS THOUGH, REALLY.

I LOVE YOU TOO AND YEAH I GOT THIS! I just want to find someone but I'm so very bad at talking to guys without that damn dating app and the two guys I met through that ended up with me being hurt so. I mean I'm gonna keep using it anyway. But yeah I just want to start one.
