Free Bee

I wanna be a bee,

Fly around and be yellow,

Surrounded in the field of mellow.

Buzz along my flight,

Going into open light.

“Even when it feels like a never ending cycle, don’t lose yourself to the trap of fear.”

As things are now, it reminded me of myself over six years ago. I was swallowed by fear and stuck in a nightmare of anxiety. That feeling has attempted to creep back up on me with the unstable state of the world.

I have since learned that it is crucial to never let those feelings and emotions win. Standing firm and brave in the face of uncertainty is what has allowed us to move forward.

Something I’ve always wanted my art to do is bring positivity even if it was to just one person. I want to continue to use my art to remind others that there’s still light in these dark times.
