You are a role model to many, you are mine. I look up to you, what you do, what you say and, everytime, I end up being so proud of you that I can’t help but being amazed. You know… It might be creepy but I often tell to myself “I know her. She is my friend, and I know her.” Saying that you don’t influence the world would be lying, really. Can we just talk for a second about the fact you’ve been fighting for over five years to prove that korean women can be strong too, in an industry that encourages soft image? You are the embodiment of strength, you are impressive. When you hold the mic, every eyes are on you, every one listens to you, every one respects you. Everybody knows you. But they know you as the image of the baddest female you are wearing when you go on stage, which is just a piece of the persona you are. Lee Chae Rin is, to me, that one person that you meet only once in your life. You seem hard to approach but it’s so far from being the reality. Truth is, at first I was very intimidated by you. It was hard for me to convince myself to go toward you and talk to you but I did it. It required me a lot of strength and courage but I did it and never did I ever regret it. I think, at some point, destiny walked into my life and pushed me to join YG just to meet you because since then, my life drastically changed. Not because of my status as an idol, but because you are now part of my life. You give interest in every person that you meet, listen to them, care for them, make them feel comfortable in a matter of minutes and I think that’s how you end up being so close to so many people, celebrities… You consider everyone as your equal. I do wish I could be like you sometimes, have your confidence, your strength, your determination. Keep it up, Chae, a bright future is waiting for you, I’m sure of it, but please, never forget about me when you will be famous in the United States!
