Seja com o trabalho que fazem na identidade visual da marca, no design dos produtos, ou nas fotos e vídeos bem produzidos, ela tem personalidade e nós valorizamos isso. Nascida em Curitiba, a Cutterman se apresenta não como uma marca, mas como um estado de espírito da transformação. Criada por dois amigos, Gustavo e Rafael, há pouco mais de dois anos, a empresa trouxe para o mercado produtos artesanais feitos com couro curtido nos melhores curtumes brasileiros, buscando resgatar a essência dos produtos “feitos à mão”. A marca produz de sapatos a carteiras, voltados para o público masculino moderno, que está em constante movimento e aprecia a vida ao ar livre. Mesmo em meio à correria do dia a dia, conversando com o Gustavo, ele topou participar da nossa seção “Gente que Empreende” e respondeu as nossas perguntas. Diário do Queijo - Como surgiu a ideia para este negócio? Gustavo Oliveira - A Cutterman surgiu inicialmente de um reencontro meu e do Rafa (havíamos cursado a mesma universidade alguns anos antes) e de uma frustração comum com os nossos empregos e carreiras. Após algumas conversas percebemos que poderíamos fazer alguma coisa juntos. De alguns bate-papos e reuniões surgiu a ideia de construir uma marca com uma proposta de produtos diferente, especial, e que tivesse um significado especial pra gente. Confesso que quando decidimos juntar produção artesanal, couro e uma boa dose de liberdade, não hesitamos muito em fazer acontecer. Já se vão 2 anos e meio de muito aprendizado. Diário do Queijo - Quais têm sido os maiores desafios para realizar este empreendimento? Gustavo Oliveira - A cada momento o desafio muda. Inicialmente o maior deles foi o de aprender sobre o couro e sobre o ofício de trabalhar com esse material. Numa próxima etapa o desafio foi conseguir aumentar a escala de produção sem abandonar o cuidado com a qualidade, mantendo a filosofia do handmade. Hoje nos preocupamos em continuar crescendo e avaliar exatamente onde queremos chegar, por que é muito fácil você se perder quando está nadando sem parar por um instante, tirar a cabeça da água e enxergar para onde está indo. Numa empresa pequena, delegar algumas atribuições, sobretudo aquelas que foram essenciais para o começo da empresa e especialmente aquelas cuja as quais você era o responsável, também demanda bastante coragem e inteligência. Diário do Queijo - E o que tem sido mais compensador na gestão da empresa? Gustavo Oliveira - Para mim, o mais compensador é manter o alto índice de satisfação, receber e-mails elogiando a marca e a experiência de compra, poder responder a cada um dos clientes de maneira rápida e pessoal.
