Dean di Laurentis x Reader
Yes, it’s another middle of the night fic. It’s also my first Off Campus fic! Just sleepy grouchiness and cuddles.
Content Includes: Dean calls reader baby, reader calls Dean Deanie and D, pre-established relationship
The clock on Dean’s bedside table read 11:00pm when you woke up to someone crawling into bed beside you.
“Who the fuck?” You growled, head whipping to the shadowy figure.
Dean chuckled and cupped your cheeks. “Hello, sleepy.”
“Hi.” You grumbled and swatted his hands away.
“Aw, that’s no way to greet your boyfriend. Is it? Not even gonna ask me how practice went?” He smiled and tapped the tip of your nose.
You groaned and hastily turned away from him. “No, you woke me up in the middle of the night with no warning. You scared me, asshole.”
“C’mere. Wanna cuddle my baby,” one of his arms snaked around you and pulled your back to his chest.
“Fuck off, Dean.” You retorted.
“Wow, sleepy and grumpy. We’re already two dwarves deep and you’ve only just woken up. Good thing prince charming is here.” He hummed into the back of your neck.
You gave up on fighting him as his warmth seeped into you through your pajamas. The faint scent of his body wash and cologne wafted off his skin as his bicep moved to cushion your head, citrusy and musky.
“You smell good.” You murmured, barely working through the marsh of exhaustion in your head.
“Thank you, baby.” He cooed, lips brushing against your shoulder as he settled.
“Is it that cologne sample we got at the mall?”
“Mhm.”
“It’s nice. Should get the full bottle so you smell like it all the time.”
“Like it that much, baby?”
“Mhm.”
Dean pressed a feather-light kiss just behind your ear and any lingering thoughts of cologne melted away. Your eyes drooped shut as your head emptied.
Unconsciously, you nuzzled into his bicep. The hind-part of your brain needing to be closer to him.
“Love you, Deanie.” You murmured sleepily into his arm.
“I love you, too. So much, baby.” Dean’s voice softened and the hand on your belly slid under your waist, pulling you impossibly closer.
Your body felt like lead as you began drifting in and out of sleep, “Night, D.”
“G’night.”
