Here's some pro tips to gain a few awesomeness points in the eyes of any sales associate:
Do not snap at us greeting you and/or asking if you need help/telling about new arrivals. We know it's annoying, but it's part of our job. Also, there might be a manager watching us closely, so, please, tolerate us
If you do need something specific just ask. We will be happy to show all the jeans we have or all the tees and we will get you size if we have, but for the love of God stop digging like mad. Do not create unnecessary mess.
Do not create a mess. Please. Be careful with the clothes since someone might actually buy this and we don't have enough of items in stock to provide everything from the back.
PLEASE, do not leave the clothes in the fitting rooms. Leave it at the exit so we could take it back to the sales floor as soon as possible.
Be understanding. Three aren't many people in store usually and sometimes its hard to juggle all the responsibilities.
Do not look down on us. Every job is valid. Every job requires serious commitment and it takes a lot to provide you with good service and keep the place running.
Enloy yourself and be positive. We will be happy to work with and even if you walk out without purchasing anything it's still great to work with someone who is nice.
This list is a compilation of tips I thought could be useful for someone who interacts with sales associates a lot.
I work in a store that relies heavily on customer service and our customers are used to get a lot of attention but sometimes it's just unbearable to work with someone who doesnt respect you.
