The SMC Team is beyond elated to bestow upon The Sims 3 community a faithful, richly detailed recreation of Sugar Maple Coast, the neighborhood exclusive to the console release of The Sims 3: Pets. Painstakingly sculpted by the talented @nornities, this beautiful world has been brought to the PC version with absolute precision and care: every lot, every street, and every Sim of the coast has been lovingly remade, with slight quality-of-life additions to accommodate unavailable features tied to the PS3 & Xbox 360 version.

🧡What is Sugar Maple Coast?

As mentioned, Sugar Maple Coast is the pre-made world shipped with The Sims 3: Pets (console). Originally named Gilman Hill, it was founded by shipmates Samuel Gilman, Timaeus Goth, Max Dalton, and Mario Angel, who turned its shorelines into a bustling settlement. Today, many of their descendants, along with their furry friends, occupy the seaside town. Come for a stroll along the boardwalk, or study the town’s historical past at the colonial library - the possibilities are endless!

This download includes a save file featuring two ghostly households settled in the town’s haunted residences, along with correctly named rabbit holes.

🍁Goth Family Ghosts: Timaeus Goth & his electrifying wife, Angela Gilman! 🍁Gilman Hill Ghosts: Samuel Gilman, first mate Max Dalton, and feline predators Piper Pixel & Mr. Snugglywhiskers!

These spectral spirits inhabited the respective graveyards of the console version, save for Mr. Snugglywhiskers; he was the unseen resident of the Rock’s Edge Lighthouse, only encountered in the form of text pop-ups! As an homage to the console-exclusive mystery journal, he was reimagined for the PC release!

Furfur, as always, is sitting at his desk in the lobby of The Hotel.

The lobby is a large open room with a reception desk in front of a fountain. The lobby has chandeliers hanging from the ceiling with vines growing down. Several sofas arranged around coffee tables dot the area. Vending machines on the side wall sell snacks, drinks, ammunition, arts and crafts supplies, and various other oddities. A door labeled "Magic's Office" sits off to the side. Behind him are doorways leading to the kitchen and the lounge as well as an elevator and several hallways. If one were to enter normally through a door they would turn around to find either a door labeled 'EXIT' or a large glass wall and door leading out into a lush and beautiful garden with a stone path leading off to a village.

A blue and silver fox man, Furfur as previously stated, is flipping through the pages of a young adult romance novel with his feet up. He's clearly very bored.

Once a bustling pirate haven filled with rowdy buccaneers, shady traders, and ships constantly coming and going, Rusty Anchor Harbor was the beating heart of Buccaneer Bay. These days it's... significantly less lively.

The dock are quiet, the ships are few, and the most action usually comes from seagulls fighting over yesterday's leftovers.

The rust is winning, the paint is peeling, and the whole place carries the gentle aroma of decay and faded glory.
