Mr. Buhr was part of the HK factory team and used this handgun in competition, hence the modifications that are not found in factory models, like the walnut insert on the trigger, checked grips and most notably, aftermarket sights.

These guns are finished with manual machines and hand tools, a proof of the kind of workmanship that's still alive and well in the old continent.
