AK Chest Rig, before and after my modifications: - Velcro engagement improved with extended pull tabs, - Waist strap shortened and fixed to one side, - X-Harness swapped for custom, minimalist H-Harness, I'll likely end up removing all the grenade pockets later and adding pistol mag pouches, but I have other people's orders to get through first.
There's a million other ways I could have made this rig even better (swiftclip compatibility/detachable harness, adjustable/removable flaps, PALS beside the mag pouches, etc), but I don't want to turn this chest rig into a ship of theseus, so just giving it the few quality of life changes that my partner requested will be good enough.
