Decided to make a small teddy bear for next the Royal 2027 competition. I haven’t decided yet whether this will be a plain bear or a clothed bear, mainly because the fur I’m using is ‘bastard fur’ (ie. it colour shifts between shades of blue/grey or shades of grey/silver/purple depending on what the lighting conditions are).
Pattern I’m using is ‘Sugar Bear’ by Furaddiction.
Clay-Faced Bear: Nova the Alien Bear!
This bear is a special gift for my friend, Teddy @mustardflavoredbear ! I filled it with all the the things he likes: aliens, bears, the color pink, trans pride, and a necklace with the word "penis."
Teddy named the bear Nova, he/they. Nova features top surgery scars (that are a little wonky; I guess this bear had lopsided tits 😜) and is decked out in gummy bears and alien earrings. Nova's face is sealed with resin (which I accidentally trapped a cat hair in 😅), and his outfit was handmade by me. I put a lot of love into this bear, and I can't wait to send them off to their forever home!

My daughter absolutely loves Geordi LaForge. So when Lower Decks showed a Geordi bear and she lost her little mind, guess what I did for her Birthday...
I got the bear from Target. A yellow toddler shirt from Dollar Tree. I cut up a black satin pillowcase (also from Dollar Tree) then sewed it on by hand which I somehow made more difficult than it needed to be. The combadge is a pin. Yes, that is a banana clip painted gold and silver. I originally had iron on pips that came from the 90s Halloween costumes but I fricking lost them so I painted buttons which look better tbh (gotta paint the one black when gold dries). I think she's going to love him

His body is fleece with a cotton cloak. He's snuggly, 100% machine washable, and only as murdery as he wants to be.
