Boosted Cushies or SDKs might be my new favorite overnight diaper. The plastic is so soft in this very particular way. 🥰 They just do it for me!

Update: it’s been a while
So. In January 2020 I was officially diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease.
I had surgery on my pituitary gland on Feb28. It was not successful. So I had a second surgery on March 5. As a result I now only have 2/3 of my pituitary gland. It appears to have been successful but my doctors are not sure yet. I will have more testing on or around May 20.
But. Basically. This rate disease makes it impossible to lose weight (the excess amounts of cortisol put the body into a constant fight or flight mode and the body clings to every bit of fat it can.) No matter what I would try, I wouldn’t lose weight. If I tried too hard I would gain. Now. Post surgery I am FINALLY starting to lose a little weight. As you can see in the picture. (I know it says surgery 3/9 but messed up with making the image. That was my release day. The surgery was on 3/5/2020)
As a result of the surgery I’ve gained a LOT of true energy and I’ve started working out again! (It was getting really bad to wear I couldn’t workout before surgery)
I’ve been walking 2mi, 3 days a week, at least. As well ask trying to incorporate other activities.
Tomorrow I plan on going for a walk after waking up and then mowing my yard.
(Also I’ve always been a good eater, but now I’ve lost just about all my cravings for junk food so that’s a major bonus!)
In January, I was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease. This means I have a tiny, non-cancerous tumor on my pituitary gland causing way too much cortisol production in my body. One signature of Cushing's is this oh so lovely buffalo hump on my back. This week I can start treatment for this illness that has been such a huge drag on my life. For about a decade, I've dealt with rapid, disproportionate weight gain, rising blood sugar, exhaustion, cognitive problems and mood problems, and now I can get better! Here's to a bright 2019! #cushingsdisease #buildaladder #cushies https://www.instagram.com/p/Bqd2dbdnMjz/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=efpt7z430b0v
Added another layer after the 1st two. Later had to duct tape for the right fit. Lol
