am always thinking about how they played together for only 6 months... not even a year... going from wanting to get a baseball scholarship and wanting to win by any means necessary to throwing all that away to stop someone you'd known for 6 months from hurting himself more. god

it's not like i trust lezhin cause they also got aitl allegations + they don't credit their translators anywhere but every time i read stigmata i think about c&s on manta and i start feeling The Bad. first of all bc stigmata kept its original page format (first thing c&s was robbed of) and second bc the translation has so much charm (which gives me hope that it's being translated by a human). i can't speak about the accuracy bc of my lack of korean knowledge but there's care put into conveying the specific way each character speaks in relation to their personalities, but also to their ranks and social status. plus an overall use of idioms + other expressions, even puns, that give the translation a distinct identity. in contrast, the c&s translation feels so... flat. it's so flat. there's no specific color for the characters and their speech, some awful mistranslations as well, it makes me wanna burn manta to the ground. someone save yakkuk's beautiful writing from this devil
