I just got an idea for a cursed AU that must never see the light of day. Somebody stop me from finishing this post.

A "The Summer Hikaru Died"/"In The Flesh" crossover.

(For those who don't know, "In The Flesh" was a queer horror show. And the queer analogy wasn't subtext, it was actual text.)

Yoshiki finds original!Hikaru's corpse on the mountain. Yoshiki prays to "nounuki-sama" for Hikaru to come back. And original!Hikaru does come back… as a zombie.

So Hikaru is basically Kieren Walker now. He takes medicine everyday to stop himself from going rabid and eating people's brains. The whole village is constantly spitting homophobia zombiephobia at him. Original!Hikaru shouts back "You're wrong! I'm not dead anymore! I'm not like THOSE zombies, I'm normal!" And Yoshiki is just "This is fine."

A while back (and with that I mean nearly 2 years ago) I was talking to @elianaroselight about making a ShadowPeach fan kid. So I drew six designs for us to choose one from. Problem is, we couldn't pick one. So we ended up keeping all six.

Congrats to Macaque and Wukong, they now have sextuplets!

Everyone has real wholesome American names. Smurf is too weird a name for Wisconsin — everyone calls her Ms. Rhonda. There’s her grandson Kyle, plus her sons Ronald, Donald, Troy, and Andy. Andy got caught and jailed during a cheddar heist gone wrong and now just goes by Ope.

Ms. Rhonda makes a lot of horrifying things called salad that are NOT salad in other parts of the world. Luckily Ope avoids getting drugged by her by simply eating salads made with actual lettuce and veggies.

Ope must do community service as a condition of his release so he helps park hot air balloons at the Taste N' Glow Balloon Festival.

Maybe Ope meets a lovely young man at the 4-H tent at the county fair while his family is looking for cheese to steal. Denny Whitaker is 19 and is showing off his prize dairy cow and a butter sculpture in the shape of a bottle of hand sanitizer. Ope falls in love and their powers combined with the power of an angry cow helps them foil the cheese heist. They get married and also somehow save the family farm. Ope and Denny wear matching sweaters and have the cleanest barn in the entire country.

What if evil versions of our characters lived in a cursed mansion and everyone in it and the mansion were stuck in a timeloop that every once in a while absorbs a new person, and so when that happens a game begins where the inhabitants try to kill the person after throwing them a party and the newcomer has to figure out how to escape the cursed house to no avail

And stuff

It’s also a horror au

With lots of slasher vibes

And I specifically see Elara as the newest newcomer

And there technically are ways to escape the curse’s game, they just involve the newcomer joining the household as an inhabitant or getting killed by the forest

And these endings are triggered by the newcomer finding a personalized key that the curse specifically makes for them for the game

And unless one of the inhabitants is killed by a newcomer’s key, anyone who’s killed is brought back to life the next time loop

Kinda? I mean, while Red Ronno smiles to keep a face of intimidation, Stephan smiles because he doesn't see a reason not to.

Because he's basically a "Classic Steven" his mind is in a state of child-like bliss by default. And he's still got a healthy dose of ignorance; even in the face of "challenges", he's not 100% taking it too seriously.

Someone resisting not playing by the rules? No biggie, just give em a reminder to play nice. Repeated offenses? Timeout time with Fluffy Friend. Someone escaped? Nothing like a good game of Hide and Tag!

Overall, he's always smiling because he's got a kid-like cheer that's hard to break since he's looking at everything like a game. Even in this situation, he wasn't completely mad. It was a low blow, maybe, but he sent a clear message to ensure it won't happen again. Takes a lot for him to loose his composure.

But when he does stop smiling...
