Currys sell household appliances and electronics. They have no gender neutral title on their purchase form:

I do prefer to say. So, time for an email. :D Their email address is [email protected] - and you can help by just sending them a quick email to say something simple like “I’m nonbinary and I support you adding Mx to your purchase form’s title list and making it optional!” Say it in your own words, and invite a response.

I got a post-purchase survey email from you today, and since there were things about my purchase that I wasn't super-pleased with I decided to go for it.

The survey didn't ask me about the things in my purchase that were not good, and there was no open text box, but there was a "do you want to answer more question?" link at the end, so I clicked it to answer more questions. I got stuck when the survey wouldn't let me continue without choosing something for this question:

[Screenshot of gender question] I am nonbinary. That means I'm not male and I'm not female. I prefer to say, so I couldn't check "prefer not to say".

My problem with the purchase was that you had no standard gender-neutral title options alongside Mr, Ms, etc. on your purchase form, but the question was required and the purchase form wouldn't let me continue without choosing a title, so I was forced to choose Dr even though I am not a doctor.

Will you be making these changes? Will you be adding nonbinary options to gender questions in your surveys in future?
