Tears sprung to my eyes chest aching. Regret, stupidity sprung to my mind. Undoing the tight bun that started giving me a headache 4 hours into my 10 hour shift. After taking off my light jacket and setting on the back of the couch.

That’s when Tessa woke and noticed me, her tail started to wag hitting Tom in the stomach slowly bringing Tom out of his deep sleep.

“Come on Tessa girl let’s get daddy to bed shall we?” I ask softly. Tessa jumps down from the couch, stretching quietly before head to our shared bedroom. I softly walk over to Tom i softly put my arm on his shoulder rubbing slightly before saying,

“Tommy baby, I’m home, let’s go to bed” he hums before his eyes open lazily before he struggles to get up.

“Baby.., your home i missed you” Tom says struggling to stand in his half sleepy state.

“I know I’m sorry I’m late let’s go to bed baby” i say helping him walk to bed.

Tom mumbles in agreement, once we make it to the bedroom he sits of the side of the bed, eyes barely staying open. He lazily smiles grabbing and pulling my body to him, tightly hugging me. While I’m still standing His head buried into my stomach.

“I love you” Tom mumbles into my body barely understandable. My heart warms as i run my hands though his messy curls.

“Come on baby let’s get you ready for bed” i softly say, he nods before letting you go. All the stress of the day long gone and forgotten. Tom pulls at his shirt still dazed in sleepiness, he struggles to pull in over his chest and arms. He huffs in frustration.

“Okay baby, i got you, let me.” I say quietly as i grab his shirt helping him take it off.

“Okay stand up, lets get these jeans off.” i say helping him up and taking his jeans off leaving him in just his boxers, just the way he likes to sleep. Moving over grabbing the covers to open a space for him to slide into bed.

After helping him into bed I start to walk of to get into my PJs.

“Wait. Baby don’t go. Come cuddle” Tom sits up voice wavering in panic.

“Don’t worry baby I’m coming back i just need to get out of my work cloths.” I say as i start to change into my PJs. Tom lays back down he open the covers on the side of my side . Once i am done i quickly make my way over getting into bed scooting over to Tom to embrace each other. Laying your head onto toms chest, arms wrapping around his waist, tangling legs together.

A soft kiss was placed on my head, looking up to see toms tired eyes looking down to you. Leaning up to kiss him softly,

“how was your last day?” Tom asks, tears come back feeling guilty for staying late.

“I’m sorry i was late, and we couldn’t do date night. they dumped a stack of papers for my last day, they tried to force me to work another day because of my contract. I couldn’t go back its horrible there.” I whimper, pushing my head into his chest as tears start pouring down my cheeks.

“Oh, baby don’t worry we have all the time in the world. I love you and you don’t deserve to work for them anymore. Hell i would prefer you stay as late as you need to get out of that hell hole. I’m so glad this was your last day. How about tomorrow we will Spend all day together. I have the next 3 weeks off from filming. What about a trip, a vacation just us”

“That would be amazing baby. What did i do to deserve you?” I cuddle closer starting to get tiered from such a long day.

“I don’t know but I’m glad you did” He teases wrapping his arms tighter around me as his eyes flutter as we start to fall asleep.

“I love you baby” I mumble to him
